I'v been quasi seeing this man I posted about..like a million years ago
this musician in a band I was in that...I had a crush on for YEARS...and out of the blue...last fall... he suddenly calls and says he got my number from so and so and he always wanted to go out with me
for years...but being in a committed relationships he never gave it more thought.....blah blah

so we went out...... he's still gorgeous sexy fun...spent the entire night..
and morning..went to a tiny cafe for wine & to hear his musician friends play in East Village.....then to a pool bar and on a broken down pool table with the eight ball constantly mia......I whupped his butt
grabbed something it eat in an all night diner in lil Korea where he took me home in a beat-up car made out of safety pins...

it was one of those dates where you just did not want to say goodbye...so we dint..... he's asked me a few times since then,texted me..emailed etc etc ...and also asked to go out with him on New Year's Eve...he was playing out in some club...that night....
not my scene....I dint want to go!..
so I said no thnx he's sprised that I'm not like...this .....

I invited to my holiday b-day party which got cancelled cas of the snow storm and so was resched for this month.... and recently sent out reminder RSVPs to a few lallygaggers.. incl him...... in a bccc

All it said was basically was

would love to hear from you..would love to see ya
lemme know if you're coming~

Me & M've been in touch all long.....lighthearted friendly romantic
I brush off any hints of any deeper possilbilties

but I get this email frm him
Gosh K, really wanna see you and have a present for you, too, but i gotta go outta town! I am herewith sending you love-vibes w promise of dinner date in FEB. Okay? -MM

and I then I remembered my email was
I'd love to see you.... but THAT went to a few folks

Although last time I was home a gang of white middle aged...paunchy
and elderly and aging hippies...cyclists....ALL men....
were riding their bikes through the upper Haight and making riotous noise

and every single jack one of them..from the long whiskered grandpappy
to the bulging beer belly....pasty colored,rosy in the sunshine
and completely unappetizing pedaled the streets..with gusto and
also with nary a stitch on

each one...completely and totally nude~~
except for their straggly gray beards and whiskers
