MISS: ORS Replenishing Pak- it didn't help me detangle at all. i need a multi purpose dc because i am almost 9 months post relaxer.

HIT: Plugged*In Tourmaline Ceramic Flatiron- got the job done since i was goin through flat iron withdrawal.

Coconut oil is a HUGE hit for my hair!! I love it. I hate most oils, but this leaves my hair light and shiny and it straightens my new growth... i couldn't ask for a better multipurpose oil

Hit: Moisturising after washing (so hair is very damp) and then blowdrying until 80-90% dry on low-medium heat and then lightly sealing with castor oil. Came out like a thick mass of crimps. I was shocked but I love it! I found out about this all because airdrying is just not an option today because plans changed and I have to leave home a lot earlier than I had planned to, it's cold outside and I am not leaving home with wet hair. I just finished taming my mane LOL, but I love it!

Hit: Using castor oil for rollersetting. I blend some with vatika oil to thin it, and put that on the sections right before rolling them. My hair comes out softer and shinier, is more manageable, and is way more moisturized. :yep:

Hit: Lustrasilk Shea + Mango Cholesterol condish; good and cheap

SUPER HIT: Consistent use of Porosity Control or ACV rinse. I've only being doing this for about 6 weeks but my hair is so much smoother and shinier and noticeably less porous! :yep: (Why did it take so long for me to do this consistently?!:wallbash: )

ITA! I only use Porosity control though and I love my hair now, I use it faithfully every week mixed with my DC's:lick:

I wanna put all my hits, but i'll stick to october :)

Hits:

this was my only miss, motions was on sale at walgreens, three for ten bucks. it left my hair hard and dry. I think it actually stripped my hair.. the shampoo was more conditioning. i rewashed with the ^ above poo and it was so conditioning i could go right to the ^above leave in. wonderful results..

Pure Mango butter whipped w/glycerin for a moisturizer

Hit - Oyin Juices and Berries :lick:
I have to use this in order to keep my hair hydrated nowadays along with a creamy moisturizer. Unfortunately the creamy moisturizers haven't been working alone. :ohwell:

Hits:

Chi Keratin Mist Spray - made my hair so soft.
Mane and Tail Conditioner as a in-leave - my hair loves it
Sulfur Oil Mix- grapeseed oil, olive oil, castor oil, Africa's Best oil, and a teaspoon of sulfur powder

I think my hair LOVES protein. I sprayed a little Chi, rubbed M&T conditioner, and then seal with very little grease. My hair was SUPER soft. My hair wouldn't stay in a wrap around bun. It kept falling and coming unwrapped. I use one small bobby pin but it usually stays. I just brought Chi Keratin Mist (7.99 at Ross) and couldn't wait to use it. Once done with M&T conditioner this will be my new leave in.

Not a Hit, Not a Miss:look:

What I mean is it is not a re-purchase - UBH Lotion Creme Moisturizer -not becuase it didn't work but because I found the organic alternative in Beauty Without Cruelty and Alba Botanica Leave-ins and Taliah Waajid PMB which are HITS by the way:grin:.

Hits:

Taliah Waajid Protective Bodifier Mist
Afroveda PUR Whipped Gelly
Avocado Butter
Hemp Seed Butter
Alba Botanica Leave-In
Donna Marie Miracurl Curling Jelly
Donna Marie Twist & Lock Pudding
Donna Marie Cocoa Hemp Hair Buttermilk
Eco Styler Gel (Pink Jar)
Dabur Vatika Oil
Aubrey Organics Island Naturals Replenishing conditioner
Aubrey Organics White Camellia Smoothing conditioner

Hits:
Paul Mitchell Straight Works - This has produced the smoothest and silkiest hair after flat ironing and it does not weigh your hair down at all. A little of this stuff goes a long way.
KeraCare Intensive Restorative Masque - I've finally found a conditioner that strengthens and softens my hair at the same time. I no longer have to use a separate protein and moisturizing conditioner.

Miss:
Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo - This is the first product that I've used where I had to immediately throw it in the garbage after using it. It weighed down and coated my hair. I don't know what kind of ingredients this shampoo has, but it left white balls of residue in my hair. I had to use a clarifying shampoo to get the gunk out of my hair that this shampoo left in it.

I felt it was fabulous; however, I experienced build up about a week later. I don't know if it was the shampoo itself or the oil that I applied on top of the shampoo. Nevertheless, it felt really good.

I'll use it again, without adding oil to my hair.

For me, its Elasta QP mango butter. That mess just sits on top of my hair. I am running back to Hairveda for some whipped ends hydration: "sorry I cheated on you baby, I am back"...

I mix mine with olive oil, so it's better on my ends now.

HIKU Pure Resurrection Mask was a definate MISS. This product left a dull residue in my hair very dissappointed for the price.

Continued hit:
Alter Ego Garlic conditioner- I love this stuff man, I don't know what's in it that makes my strands so smooth from root to tip but I love it! Not to mention no shedding and soft moisturized hair.
