Miss:

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Mask. My hair hated it and did not feel moisturized at all.

Trying to press my NG. In a word -- comical.

Hit: Lustrasilk Shea + Mango Cholesterol condish; good and cheap

SUPER HIT: Consistent use of Porosity Control or ACV rinse. I've only being doing this for about 6 weeks but my hair is so much smoother and shinier and noticeably less porous! :yep: (Why did it take so long for me to do this consistently?!:wallbash: )

Hit: Sally version of Paul Mitchell " The detangler",I will see how it works when im stretching.

Miss:
Aphogee Green Tea & Keratin Reconstructor--just doesn't do anything for my hair. Plus, my hair doesn't "style" as well when i use this.

Afroveda's Cocolatte Moisture Mask
Afroveda's Shea Amla Butter

  • Vatika Frosting
  • NTM Silk Touch Leave In

New Hits:

  • Alter Ego Garlic Conditioner
  • Wetting rollers for dry set (ends were so smooth!)

Miss:
Hawaiian Silky 14-n-1 as a rollersetting product. Maybe I used too much but my hair came out heavy and greasy. :nono: no mam.

Silk amino acids added to my deep conditioner
Noixin Thermal Bliss spray
KBB hair cream on damp ends prior to rolling for twist and curl
Fermodyl 619
Giovanni smooth as silk shampoo & conditioner
Avocado oil

I think I am not hating a whole lotta products lately. I basically have a new stash of products that are about 85% natural/organic now and love just about all of them. I guess natural hair products do agree with my hair afterall.

My new HITS are:
Avalon Organics Biotin with B-Complex Thickening Shampoo
Avalon Organics Biotin with B-Complex Thickening Conditioner
Beauty Without Cruelty Rosemary with Mint and Tea Tree Shampoo

Jason Naturals Biotin Shampoo Jason Naturals Biotin Conditioner (may not repurchase the JN Biotin poo and con because I like the AVA-ORG Biotin poo and con above even better^^^^)

Jason Naturals Jojoba Shampoo
Jason Naturals Jojoba Conditioner
Jason Naturals Sea Kelp Conditioner

More Hits:
Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor
Joico K-Pak Intense Hydrator Conditioner
Joico K-Pak Reconstructing Conditioner

-Taliah Waajid Black Earth Products Protective Mist Bodifier:lick: - a great moisturizer, leave-in and detangler anytime of the year:yep:.
-Fantasia IC Gel (pink, green and blue ones)
-Luster's S-Curl Styling Spray Moisturizer - makes for a great moisturizer during the high humidity months.

A Major Major Hit:
Mixing Aloe Vera Gel with a protein or reconstructor treatment as a prepoo. Now this has proven GREAT on my 38 weeks of new growth. I hardly get any demarcation breakage like I did from before adding this to my regimen a few months ago.

On the fence:
Aphogee Keratin and Green Tea Restructerurizer - I am using it on my braids and hope that it is strengthening my hair through the extensions so I will have to update on this one again later.

Joico Color Endure Shampoo
Joico Color Endure Conditioner
Joico Body Luxe Shampoo
Joico Body Luxe Conditioner - (I like these shampoos and conditioners but I have natural/organic color protecting and thickening poos and conditioners that work even better on my hair).

Miss:
Beyond The Zone Noodle Head Curling Creme - left flakes all through my hair no matter how little I used:nono:. And I really wanted to like it too:sad:.

Still Lovin':

Motions CPR
Joico MRB
Essential Balms hair balm
Njoi Herbal Hairdress
Hydratherma Naturals Oil and Leave ins

On the Fence:

GVP PM The Conditioner - not so sure this is moisturizing enough for me. Might have to go back to the original.

Miss:
Hawaiian Silky 14-n-1 as a rollersetting product. Maybe I used too much but my hair came out heavy and greasy. :nono: no mam.

That stuff is heavy to me anyway! It comes out of the spray heavy. It's kind of a miss for me! I don't really see if being that softening. Looking to get rid of it when my haircare group has a product exchange.

Continuous Hit: ORS Olive Oil Creamy Aloe Shampoo :yep:

Miss:
ORS Olive Oil Cream - No Ma'am :nono:

I'll just try to stay away from ORS moisturizers
and most products with mineral oil.

Still on the fence: Miracle 7 leave-in. Maybe I really expected a miracle, but my hair just fought back. :ohwell:

Hits:

  • Letting go of most of my cone filled products. My hair stays moisturized longer and it is really soft.

  • Chi Keratin Mist Spray
  • Giovanni Smooth As Silk Shampoo
  • Trader Joe's Nourish Spa (very moisturizing)
  • Mane N Tail Conditioner
Continued Hits:

  • UBH Conditioner (great protein conditioner)
  • Giovanni Direct Leave In
  • Ecostyler Gel

Continued hits:
coconut oil
bentonite clay
Aubrey organics white camellia conditioner

Hits

Hollywood Beauty Olive Oil Cholesterol. Used as a DC with heat. Detangling was too easy and my hair was very moisturized. The scent lasts for days and is pleasant.

Kid Organics Gro Strong Triple Action Therapy- Very moisturizing on flat ironed hair w/o worrying about reversion. Smells good too.

Revisited Miss

Chi Silk Infusion. Now I remember why I stopped using it. My hair felt immediately dry and coated.

hits: individual braids

miss: alba botanica cupuacu butter deep conditioner. this crap sucked. it shrunk my hair up so bad that i could not get a finger through any of my curls. i had to use the whole 8oz bottle to detangle. i hae one more bottle left but i might give it away.
