Plussss...after reading the new ingredients, you can add some olive oil to the color and still have the olive oil ingredient. That's what I will be doing. NYC was a bust.

Thanks girl you know, I wonder if adding evoo to it will thin it out too, like the OG. The new one is a LOT thicker which may be cool for some but I ended up using way more than usual. I'm still on the fence cuz even if I do add evoo, what's all that extra stuff, or was it just not on the label before? I'm up here pondering a conspiracy theory over some damn hair color to paraphrase Jenn, my hair...it IS just that serious

Okay, so here are the ingredients...

Old bottle w/black & gold label

Description: "Olive Oil Plus: Color Showers:The professoinal tones of the Olive Oil Plus line are the only semi-permanent colors made with natural proteins and Virgin Olive Oil. These tones contain natural ingredients that provide volume, shine and softness to your hair and total coverage of gray hair if present. The do not contain peroxide or ammonia."

Ingredients: Dionized water, citric acid, salt, sellosize, metil and benzoato sodium, quaternium 60, propylene glycol, Red Ponceuax #4, red amarant #2, Blue # 1 and #2, Yellow #5 and #6.

New Bottle

Description: "Silicone Color Showers: The professional tones of the silicone line are the only semi-permanent colors made with natural proteins and silicone. These tones contain natural ingredients that provide volume, shine and softness to your hair and total coverage of gray hair if present. They do not contain ammonia or peroxide.

Now that I'm looking at this ingredient list of the original, where's the olive oil, besides it being mentioned in the description?

Wow, I didn't know they changed the formula. I checked mine and I have the original CS. It still seems that everyone is still getting good results with the new CS.

Thank you. While I got the color kinda how I wanted it, I'm just unhappy I might check out the Laminates colors too, couldn't hurt.

The only thing I don't like about sebastian is the price. I might see if I can find the matrix rinses somewhere

It's sho nuff hard out there for a pimp...I'm open to almost everything at this point. I'm really leaning toward henna though...the only thing is, I think I'd miss the shine. Ahhh, yo no se. Sent u a PM.

Well if you decide to color after the henna it might be a mess... TRUST ME! lol... I figured out thats why my black never came out... smh.... Henna is great but its the devil too

what color are the contents of your bottle? Usually its a tint of color if your hair is dark...

I received my Red Copper in mail today (from Amazon the new bottle). Almost scared to try it. I may do a chunk in the front before I do the entire head. I won't be coloring til the weekend though.

i used my red copper last night. my hair is dark so i only got a very litle tint on most of my hair. but because my ends are still light from bleached i used about a year ago there is more color there. i am going to order the burgandy one today. i want to use that because the website specifically says it will show on dark hair.

i have the new formula. just ordered the burgany one. cant wait to use it. it didnt seem any different than the ADORE i usually use. except it leaves crazy colors on my hand. my hand is still yellow.

Umm, yea so after getting home and sitting in the window like a lonely puppy waiting for FedEx to drop my package, I get it, rip it open and look at the Color Showers bottle. No biggie, I noticed already the bottles had changed. I'm reading, the ingredients are different. Doesn't say anything about Olive Oil like the original. I'm still like eh, no biggie. I open my beloved COBRE and WTF do I find? I see exactly what Filthy Fresh was talking about; the ish looks olive green. When I stick my finger in it, it's gold. I shake, shake, shake, still effin green bull ish, no hint of red anywhere in sight. I'm so pissed right now I can't even see straight. They changed the damn formulation and I'm not liking what I see. I don't know if it's this particular distributor or what, but the last jar of once en uno I had came from the same people and I SWEAR it's different. I put some CS in a glass bowl and stirred w/a stick. This ish is actually separating, hmmm lemme see, could it be the damn silicone that they so proudly mention on the bottle? Of course the place I bought it from closes at five, so I had to come here and express my disdain, disgust and every other dis word for this new formula. I'm not putting it in my hair, you can hang that ish up right effin now. I have one of my old bottles and the color when you open it is obviously auburn, and it's of a thinner consistency. I don't know what this other bull ish is. I'm wondering if they have these damn bottles labeled wrong, this CAN'T be Cobre. I'm seriously ready to fight this bottle like a B on the street. If this is the new stuff, I can't even support it and will be removing it from my staple list. Not that it means anything, but I can't endorse this; it's not what I fell in love with .

It should at least be close or similar. When I first started using, the color on the label actually matched what was in the bottle. Now, not so much but the Rojisimo is the right color. I'm really wondering if the batches got mixed up or something...the world may never know .

If they say nothing has changed, why changed the ingredients label? They are gonna start noticing less orders, start loosing money, then they will do something about it.

I called bluebeez...that is where mine came from, talked to a Jackie there. She opened up a bottle and did notice a green tint. Then she took a little out and mixed it (stir) and she said she saw a copper tone. Jackie said I could return it but they will charge me a restocking fee. I'm like, WTH !....If I did try it and my hair turned green and I sued, you would be paying more than a restocking fee. She understood and suggested that I do a strand test. And if it didn't turn a red/brown color to call her back. I explained to her that I order from amazon and will be leaving feedback after I do the strand test.

i got mine from amazon but i think it shipped from amazon. i dont know the lot number because im not home right now.

I think what they sell on Amazon is hosted by BlueBeez but on the side of the bottle it should say ____ Distributors, Castillo or Mimor usually.
