Color Showers

Me too! I'm transitioning and i want to start wearing my hair out more, i like my natural/henna combination of color, but i would prefer to have some highlights or something lol!

I love ur color! Im going to try very soon. How many oz. are you ladies using for each application...not the whole bottle right?:ohwell:

Well i tried bright red and got so many compliments. My scalp and highlights were super red though.

I ordered the red copper. =]
Any tips on what to do as far as applying it?
Do I need to buy plastic gloves?
And how much should you use?
Do you coat your hair from root to end?
Help me please! LOL.
Oh, and how long does shipping roughly take from Roundbrushhair.com to Chicago (if anyone knows)?

oh definitely not the whole bottle, lol. My stylist applied it for me. But use just enough to cover the hair from root to end.

I think i received my shipment less than a week, sorry i can't remember exactly. My stylist applied mines but you should definitely use glove unless you want stained hands, lol. She just poured straight from the bottle, or you could use a application brush and a bowl. You should coat the hair from root to end. As if you were applying a virgin relaxer, if that's any help. Best tip is to follow the directions for best results.

Good luck ladies. Please keep us posted with pics and a reveiw.

Question, how long did it take for the color to come off your scalp?

Ok, i was about to order one of the Color Showers off of roundhairbrush.com and the shipping is $9.81. dang.

Does anyone know where you can buy this locally in Los Angeles or is there a discount code for LHCF? I didn't see one.

Thanks!

lol, i don't remember. But that pic was taken 7/29 and i shampoo once a week and i'm still seeing color come out.

LOL. Okay. I placed my order and it should be here tomorrow FedEx says.
I'm almost 6 weeks post, but I think I should be okay.
I usually stretch 12+ weeks.
I can't wait to change my hair color! :drunk:
I've never done anything like this before.

I really want to try the color you have, but I'm nervous it will look stupid w/ my complexion. Maybe I should buy the bright red and the black as a back up in case I hate it.

Has anyone seen/tried the Grape colorshowers? I have been looking for a deep plum (more violet, less red) type color. The closest I have seen is Redken Orchid which is great

Thanks

Good, i'm going for my trim on the 24th (i'll be 8wks post) and i'm gonna try the burgundy this time. I wanna see how much darker of a difference it will be. Let's keep each other posted i would love to see your results.

I think you'll be fine. Our complexions can't be that far off. You look carmel, lol. But black is gorgeous too. I think you can't go wrong either way.

These are two colors I am looking at too. Burgundy and Grape.

I just got my Color Showers!
I wonder if I have a throwback bottle or something. LOL.
Shipping was super fast.
I order Wednesday night (10PM) & paid for regular Ground Shipping.
It's Saturday morning (11 AM) and I just got my order.
I think roundbrushhair.com and I are going to have a real good relationship from here on out.

I just saw your post. Go to amazon and put Color Showers in the search field. You will find them for less. (about 4 bucks less a bottle) So that will help with the shipping.

If you want to go directly to the company's website. Here you go http://www.bluebeez.com/

*There was a review for the company in the vendor forum. It was a positive review.*

Yeah my rojisimo bottle was different, too. I think the letters were bigger or something. I might be an upgrade though.

I used my red copper on friday. i don't own a dyer so i emailed roundbrush and the lady that emailed me back said i could leave it in for an hour w/o heat and it would work. however the color didn't take. i shampooed first, then put the color in, plastic bag over my head for an hour, and washed out with conditioner...NOTHING no color.:ohwell::wallbash:

OMG.
Please don't tell me that.
I got the Red Copper too.
I have a dryer though, but still.
I'm scared the color won't take now. :nono:

But i strongly believe Eisani tried copper red and i took very well for her. I don't know about the no dryer part. Also i think my stylist just washed my hair out with plain water. Maybe some of the ladies here have washed out with conditioner before. Also like i said sunlight or great lighting play a big factor. Just check out my siggy vs. avatar.

thanks wheezy. i see very little color. i do remember E saying that her hair color was light. my hair is a dark brown. ill check it out some more. i will reapply later this week and see what happens. maybe i need to leave it in a little longer. but the lady at roundbrush said not having a dryer wouldn't/shouldn't matter at all just leave it in for about an hour with a plastic bag over my head. so i have do a little more researching.:spinning:

True.
I'm just kind of nervous. LOL.
My hair is kind of a mousy/sandy brown.
So I'm hoping that it takes the color well.

I saw my name :look:. What Wheezy said:yep:. Focuslady you're right, my hair is light naturally but what I also want to tell you is the more you use it, the more the color builds on itself and becomes even more noticeable. Don't give up on it:grin:

Filthyfresh, w/your hair already being a med brown, you should have really good results the first try. For anyone that has a dryer, I would recommend using it. I usually sit under mine for 45 minutes, then sit around or do other things for another 30 minutes. I then rinse, shampoo and DC. HTH helps yall!
