Ok, just wanted an interesting title to get the weave and braid wearers. You know how we always say you will get used to your hair as it grow, well I'm not so sure if that is the same case for us. Example: The last time I wore my hair down was in June. Since then I have been taking Vitamins, MTG and MN here and there. But with my multi and hair vitamins I have been consistent for about three months since June.
So, anyway I was actually wondering whether or not I would want to deal with hair BSL or MBL. It took me 10 minutes to wash, 25 minutes to dry without attachments, 1 hour to dry with attachments sectioning hair off as I put Nexxus Heat Protex on each sections (works great btw), and 1 hour to straighten with curlers. I didn't do the ends though so I had to go back and press it which took one hour, and 45 minutes to roll it with rollers.

I was so not used to it cause the layers have grown out and as I was driving this morning I couldn't sit back because I would be laying on it. I am glad my hard work has finally paid off and yeah, I would still want to grow my hair to MBL or WL. I am just warning the braid and weave wearers that they will have to adjust to the new length and it will seem like your hair grew over night, hence my title LOL:lachen:

wish i had that trouble:lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen:i am in braids but it growing long in back a little past soulder and the sides are a little pass cheek:wallbash::wallbash: no sitting on hair for me for along time:nono: happy growing

I know I will have to deal with that soon. Im now 2 days from 24 week post relaxer, been in braids and twists since since september. I was below neck, well today I took out a twist on the side its 2 inchs below my collar bone. With 2.5 inches of new growth unstretched. I was in shock. I just moisturized it and retwisted the hair and walked away. I afraid for December when
I get a T up.

Man I would love that problem my hair is creeping along I don't think I'll make APL until June. I've been shoulder for 1.5 years I think:perplexed

My length has been about the same all my later teen/adult life, alittle past my shoulders. I believe my problems won't be any different than they are right now. My hair get's stuck on my lipgloss, the strap of bags pull my hair, my SO (when I have one:rolleyes: LOL) lays on my hair. It's always taken forever to wash and dry- and don't forget about the tired arms, etc:grin: I just want to experience those same problems at MBL :yep:

Y'all LHCF heffas are never satisfied!

Get over it and swing that hair .........girl! Seriously - enjoy your hard work!

I wish my hair would grow to long lengths overnight. I ain't complaining1 I want to deal with MBL and WL hair. Bring it on already!

Yeah, we are never satisfied. I was giving myself until next June to get to APL so I wouldn't be disappointed but it seems that it will take six months to reach my goal length. So even though I am giving myself a year to reach BSL, it will probably be more like June July.

Everyone keeps asking how long it takes so I would say on average, about every 6-8 months to reach a goal like SL to APL, APL to BSL, BSL to midback and so on.

And the funny thing is, now that I am a healthy thick APL, I don't feel like dealing with it, especially that I haven't had a relaxer since June 7 and have over 4.5 inches of new growth.:look::ohwell::perplexed:grin:

I know everyone will reach their length, so happy hair growing Closer, Honey, CurliDiva, Airy, Cicily, and Baby.
