I did my shopping before the "Buy Nothing in June" challenge: Trader Joe's Nourish condish, aloe juice, aloe gel, Aussie Hair Insurance, Pantene Hydrating Curls condish, another spray bottle, MSM, honey, and a bigger hand mirror. Nothing more for a month!

Hopefully I won't have to buy anything else. I bought Alta Silica last night from the Vitamin Shoppe. This is what I bought last week:

8 oz of Raw Shea Butter
16 oz Wheat Germ Oil
2 boxes of Amla powder
2 boxes of Brahmi powder
2 bottles of Maha Bhringaraj Oil
1 bottle of Care Free Curl Moisturizer

THIS IS IT. I just joined the June buy nothing challenge for obvious reasons.

I bought nothing so far and this is hard to do but I need to stop myself from buying anything else for a very long time - I'm in the "Buy nothing for May 2008 challenge".....oh wait, I have to get some V05 conditioners for my co-wash challenge by Saturday before the "Buy Nothing for June 2008 challenge" as well:yep::drunk:.

My pj'ism has come to a crawl. Just have too much stockpiled and need to use up during the course of the summer:ohwell:.

  • Re-stocked a gallon of Joico Body Luxe conditioner because I got it for a decent price and I use it regularly [that's it for the year, have enough to take me to December]
  • 4 packs of Hask Placenta
*dat's it*

I do need some JBCO...and I may cop a few more items to try that have been mentioned....but for real...that will be it...:look:

Organix Coconut Milk Conditioner
Organix Vanilla Shampoo
Organix Vanilla Conditioner
SAA & Honeyquat from Lotioncrafter
Aphogee EFA oil
Liter of Kenra MC
Liter of Kenra CMC

Mizani Puriphying Shampoo. I went in to get Keracare 1st lather but, both JC Penney's I went to were out of it. The SA told me that Mizani Puriphying shampoo was the equivalent.

The new MaxiGlide MP. They just recently started selling it at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I tried it on several pieces of hair, and I really like it!!!

I know I tried the original MaxiGlide about 2 years ago when I was relaxed and overprocessed w/ color, but I had strings of hair coming out when using it. I returned it the next day. Since they came out with a smaller version, and since I'm natural now, I decided to try it again. Wow, no frizzy/bushy ends that would lead me to unnecessary trims. My ends came out smooth and neat.

I can't wait till the winter time so I can do my whole head. I would have gained more length by then, and be able to swang my hurr .

3 packs of Flexi jumbo rollers. They were on sale for 4.99 and are regularly 7.99:up:

One jar of B&B castor oil moisturizer also.

This month I restocked with my staples
ORS Oil Moisturiser
Jojoba Oil
Avocado Oil

New additions;
Dr Bronners, Lavender, Almond & Rose Magic Soaps
Royal Indian Hemp and Scalp Food
BB Oil Moisturiser (*Couldn't resist this mineral oil free product)

This lot should keep me stocked for about 6mths. The Dr Bronners combined probably about a year to 18mths!

Nothing, and I am proud of myself.
I have enough products to last for 2 years,I did an inventory this week and did not realize how many product I have on hand.
