Kimmaytube Update 12-7-2011

Forgive me if this has already been posted. I did a search and didn't find anything.

Anyway, I was curious to see if Kimmay had any updates on YouTube but I came up empty, so I went over to her Twitter (https://twitter.com/kimmaytube) and....voila! She says she has reached her goal and will straighten her hair again soon.

You know i am so sad that i missed curlyngirl train and all the other trains ten yrs ago. But ten yrs ago i had apl texturize hair until it started to fall out and then i was lost. Not knowing what products to use on my hair to get the same look as a natrual. You live and you learn.

It's nice to see her consistent progress. She doesn't vary much from her routine and it works for her. My problem seems to be that I get bored with wearing the same style day after day. I wish I had her discipline.

Love this woman. And now that I've reached the point of no turning back, and am officially transitioning, (haven't relaxed since June and I'm loving the growth of my natural hair) she is officially one of my inspirations.

I am finally ok in my heart with growing my natural hair to waist length and beyond. I achieved it with relaxed hair...so I expect even better results with stronger healthier hair.
