Avon Advanced Techniques Damage Repair Conditioner.

Thick, rich and creamy, very moisturizing does an amazing job on our type of hair. Don't let this one get past you :lick:.

continued hits

avocado butter for deep conditioning
aloe vera gel or juice for de-tangling

on the fence about Naturalista Juicy Leave in. i got tired of the smell and my SO hates it; he likes the scents of my other products. he said this one made him want cookies all day.

I have been having GREAT luck with products lately! I really think it's b/c I am very much in tune with my hair and product ingredients! Thanks to all the knowledge from this board and taking the time to learn my hair.

Hits:
Mizani Supreme Oil!
Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner (after I flat ironed for a trim!)
Giovanni Nutrafix Hair Reconstructor (after flat iron)
Joico Moisturizing Conditioner

Hits:
Macadamia Natural Oil deep repair masque. Even with heavy moisturizing and sealing, my hair was feeling bone dry a day after washing. This made my hair feel great.

It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Conditioner + coconut oil = moisture heaven

Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque :yep:Good but not better than Silk Elements Mega Silk Treatment, for the price it should be tho. :perplexed

Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment - as a leave in it fights frizzy ends after my roller-set and leaves my blowout felling silky and moisturized.

Luxor Pro T-Pro Tourmaline Vented Thermal Brushes - I bought 3 of these small, medium and large. They work great at blowing out my hair silky straight.

I really want to try It's a 10 miracle Hair Mask. I heard westNDNbeauty's review of it and wanted to see for my self but @ $30 a pop  I think I better use up all my other DC's first.

Enso Naturals Blue Malva & Wildflower Anti-Breakage Hair Lotion
Enso Naturals Sweet Honey & Olive Nourishing Pomade
Joico Moisture Recovery Conditioner

Misses:

Enso Naturals Horsetail & Aloe Curl Quenching Cream
As I Am DoubleButter Cream

Neither or these provided long lasting moisture. The aloe and horsetail cream made my hair too greasy, but I probably used too much.

This month has been a bust because all of the products I purchased were a waste of time and money:

Enso Naturals
- Sweet Honey Hibiscus Leave-in (not moisturizing at all, it left my hair feeling dehydrated after it was fully dry)

- Aloe & Marshmallow Moisturizing Hair Milk (this provided absolutely no moisture to speak of)

- Cacao Curl Recovery Deep Conditioning Treatment (this felt as if I was applying a paste of ground sand or pottery clay to my hair, it was stiff and unforgiving; the only thing that loosened it up somewhat was sitting under the dryer. After rinsing, my hair felt nasty and hard)

- Blue Malva & Wildflower Honey Anti-Breakage Hair Lotion (although this went on smooth and made my hair feel soft, it looked dull and flat, and felt crispy once it had fully dried)

- Milk & Honey Hydrating Butter Cream (one word - shea butter, what was I thinking buying this?)

- Olive & Honey Hydrating Hair Butter (two words – shea butter & beeswax *holding up a Bugs Bunny sign that says, “Stupid, ain’t she?”*)

- Agave Nectar & Flaxseed Daily Protective Mist (I needlessly abused my finger trying to spritz this stuff out to no avail because it didn’t provide a lick of lasting moisture after my hair was dry)

Tiiva
- Green Tea Leave-in Moisturizer (not very moisturizing, has a rather bothersome aroma)

- Hair Growth Oil (was repelled by the first batch that had ghosts and goblins flying out of it)

- Coffee & Cupuacu Deep Moisturizing Conditioner (this is a decent conditioner that needs a tablespoon of oil to make it perfect, but I won’t repurchase because the vendor’s behavior turned me off)

Bear Fruit Hair
- Cotton (Marshmallow) Cream Cleansing Conditioner
- Yarrow Hibiscus Cleansing Conditioner
- Green Tea Apple Rinse

This was my first foray into the realm of cleansing conditioners and acidic rinses. The cleansers made my hair so dry that I swore I saw a tumbleweed blow by; the rinse did nothing but make my hair hard. Also, the oblong rectangular shape of these containers makes it extremely difficult to get the product out (= cutesy packaging fail).

That's it, no more experimentation for me.

IdareT’sHair

See, now I feel badly.

I’m always more than willing to work with a product by doctoring it up with oils, distilled water or other additive; and by using it in different ways at different times/seasons. However, if a product sucks from the gate, as a law abiding hair board subscriber and compulsive product junkie, I am compelled to speak out.

I done already tolded her that theys my initialses...:ohwell:

PJaye Hmp. You have no reason to "feel bad" (at all) You gave your Honest Overall Opinion of how each Product Worked for Your Hair.

It was to the point and very detailed.:yep:

I enjoyed reading it. Truly.:yep:

New Hits:
1. Mizani Renew Strength Concentrated Capsule (Amazing!)
2. Obliphica treatment hair mask (very moisturizing)

Continued Hits:
1. Mizani Renew Strength Fortifying Shampoo
2. Kerastase Maquintense
3. Oribe Supershine

Combining a cellophane with a moisturizing deep conditioner.

Honey Chile, the hair was moving , shaking, and blanging, not blinging, but blanging. Not to mention my hair was SOFT!

I can't wait to try this combo, and see if I can duplicate the same results.

Products used: Original Color's Chocolate Cellophane, and MorrocanOil Intense Hydrating Mask, and a little added Argan oil.

Miss and Hit
HV Whipped Ends Hydration
Enso Blue Malva
Use: Daily Moisturizer
Neither product absorbed well in my air dried hair. :nono: Made my hair sticky and tangly. My roller set hair loves both of them. :lick: Bee Mine Luscious seems to be the only moisturizer that absorbs quite nicely in both my air dried and roller set hair.

Miss:
Tiiva DC - my hair was dry after DCing with it. Perhaps it was the Aloe Vera content. I was really considering putting it in exchange forum but I might try adding oils to it to see what I get. I'm so over mixing up oils in my DC but I might do it once more for old time sake. We shall see.
