Hit's

Bath & Body works Cherry conditioner (cant remember the exact name).
Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea conditioner.
 
Hits:

-Herbal Essence None of Your Frizzness Condish..It's cheap, smells good and leaves hair moisturized on rinse out. Would buy again.

-Taliah Waahid Black Earth Shampoo...Doesn't strip hair yet suds. I like suds.

-Mizani Puriphying Shampoo...Also good for clarifying yet didn't strip my hair. Smells good too.

-Jane Carter Revitalizing Leave-in..it smells SO GOOD! This is a nice refresher instead of using plain old water in a spray bottle. I can smell it in my hair the WHOLE day. Like to use it rather than loading product on hair daily.

-Kinky Curly Knot Today...Also smells good. Very light. Good ingredients.

-Naat Silicon Leave-in...got it from Sally's. Supposed to be the generic to the Dominican Silicon Mix. Mineral oil in it but its a nice leave-in. Mainly bought it for the smell. I LOVE the silicon mix smell.

-Microfiber Towels...They make a difference. Just go to the auto department and buy a pack. Dries your hair faster & don't have to worry about rubbing a cotton towel against your hair and making frizz. (natural)

-Afroveda Citrus Oil..Bought this a long while back & finally decided to use it up. Too heavy for daily use but great as a pre-poo. Like the smell.

Miss:

-Kinky Curly Curling Custard...No difference in hair. Took it right back. Water and leave-in gave more moisturized curls than this.

-Keracare Natural Textures Defining Custard...I'mma try this one more time....

-Taliah Waahid Bodifying Mist...Makes hair TOO greasy. I hated that sticky, coated feeling. Sudden urge to wash hair immediately.

-Curls Goddes Curls Botanical Hair Gel...Apparently I just dont like gel. I think thats what it is. But the smell of this stuff made me find the receipt QUICK. It STINKS!

-Care Free Curl Gold...Sorry Nonie, too much juices & berries! Just too greasy.

-SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie...Just stinks. Smells TOO fruity and although no chemicals, it smalls like chemicals. Took it back. Just felt cheap on my hair.

@MizzBrown GOOD! :giggle: That's what you get for not paying attention in class. :bat:I have NEVER suggested to anyone they use Carefree Curl Gold. I don't even use it myself! And yes, folks who listened to me have reported back that my suggestion is way better than Carefree Curl Gold and not as greasy/sticky. One comment was, "It was surprisingly very light and wet; not what I was expecting--especially have using Carefree which is greasy and sticky."

ETA: I almost forgot to send you back to school. I'm mad you associated me with CFCG...when I even post photos of what I use and recommend! :spank:

Hit: Shea Moisture coconut & hibiscus leave-in. Hmmmm it just might replace my beloved Darcy's Botanical transitioning cream

*This is about my 3rd or 4th Jar, but for some reason this Jar feels 'different' and it's making my hair feel dry.:perplexed
I read a coupla' other posts where Ladies said it was/is making their hair feel dry, now I understand. Will use up but won't repurchase for a while.:look:

ButtersnBars Conditioning Masque - made my hair so soft and shiny!! Just ordered another jar, too. :yep:
Garnier Sleek & Shine serum, new formula - detangles even better than the old one and my hair feels and smells :lick:great after drying.

REVISITED HIT
Garnier Length & Strength conditioner for cowashing :grin:
 
Hit: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle!

Miss: AO GPB. Only tried it once and had high expectations. Gonna try it again but I don't see a repurchase in my future.
 
My surprised hit is adding honey to my moisturizing deep conditioners. The banana burlee and elasta qp intense conditioner (new formula, I liked the old one much better) were just okay until I added honey. The added honey in the conditioners made my hair so moisturized.
 
Hit:
- Enso naturals milk and honey hydrating butter
- Sealing ends and length with Blue Magic Coconut grease
- Low manipulation and my sulfur oil and mega tek mix (starting to see more length)

Possible miss: Afroveda butters-I brought the sampler and just knew this stuff would be awesome, but I don't know. I have never seen a product with such good ingredients but isn't moisturizing. They act more like sealers to me cuz they are so thick, and have way too much hold. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what I can add to them to make them more moisturizing. They would probably make good twisting butters due to the hold they have. You definitely have to layer these with some type of lotion underneath. I'm very disappointed :-(

Misses-
Alaffia beautiful curls..the entire line..i am still trying to wash that crap out of my hair. these products left my hair, dry and dull. no moisture at all!

Protein packs--leave my hair extremely dry..i am tired of using bottles of my stash to get the moisture back in.

olive oil and coconut oil--i really don't the hype...works better on my body.

IDareT'sHair I saw this at Marshalls a while ago and was tempted to get it now I may have to try it out if they still have it.

I was having a terrible time with Tangles, Knots etc.....It was 50% technique and 50% what I was using to detangle with.:rolleyes:


So, now I always detangle with some sort of detangling product on soaking wet hair and it has been a life-saver.:yep:

Yes, this is my 2nd bottle and I have 1 back up (so I must like it pretty well).
