Miss-
Glycerin based products of any kind feels good at first but the end result before the day is over is sticky, tangly hair even in optimal glycerin usage climates.

Glad I'm not the only one. :nono:

Continued Hit:
HE Long Term Relationship - Makes my hair feel nice. :yep:

Misses:
Curls Milkshake - This went on nicely and made my hair feel good at first, but I guess the protein ingredients got the best of my hair after awhile.

Bee Mine Balancing Moisturizer - I gave this one more final chance and it failed me. Once again my hair didn't like the protein in this product. It felt weird. :perplexed

I've learned that I have to avoid daily moisturizers with glycerine and protein.

Hit:
Linange Shea Butter Lye Relaxer-OMG, this is the best relaxer I've ever used. I will never ever use anything else!

Miss:

Tresemme natural nourishing moisture conditioner- I needed a replacement for HEHH for cowashes (the new formula sucks big time and left my hair feeling heavily coated and tangled). I saw this on sale at stop n shop 2for$7 and decided to give it a try. Its silicone free and left my hair feeling amazing. Its very creamy and I love the smell. This conditioner is very moisturizing and distributes easily. This is definitely something I plan to keep in my arsenal.

Hit: Alfaparf Seduction ultra moist shampoo and mask. My hair is so smooth and shiny. I have natural highlights in my hair and they are popping like never before. I think I have found my staples

Sent from my LS670 using LS670

Hit:
Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner for co washing. Silk Elements MegaSilk Olive Oil Conditioner for co-washing. Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner for co-washing. I think I'm just in love with co-washing.

HITS:

Alfaparf Semi Di Lino essential oil vial (blue one)- I know danysedai and a few other ladies in the Alfaparf thread mentioned this blue vial...after reading about it recently in Instyle's Hair edition, I decided to finally try it, especially since I was doing a color treatment this weekend...and its fabulous! My hair is shiny, swingy and feels soft and supple. Although I'm sure it's a mixture of other products as well, my hair looks toooo good right now and I loved the feel and effect my hair had during and after the use of the vial.

Redken Anti-Snap- Second time using it, and it's really great at giving my damp hair slip and detangling it. It's wonderful extra benefits that it's infused with ceramides and protect against heat and brush tension. I can't wait to see the potential effects that it has on my hair's health long-term.
REVISITED HIT:

Redken Shades EQ- Not much else to say other than that I will ALWAYS love this stuff; gorgeous, rich, dimensional shades (a HUGE shade selection to boost) and a fabulous demi-permanent formula that creates blingy shine AND wondefully conditioned hair. My hair always looks so nice and healthy after using these colors, and I will continue to sing their praises for years to come!

Miss- Shescentit Macadamia Gel absolutely no hold what so ever, may be better on hair textures with looser curls or relaxed.

HIT

Jasmine Shea rinse
Bee Mine Deja hair milk
Enso Moss & Marshmallow serum
both these items are repurchase and might be staples. I am going to use them a little bit longer before I make that decision. The Enso serum is a repurchase and is now a staple.

Curl Junkie Curl Assurance Smoothing Lotion - Score! This leave-in feels amazing on dry and wet hair. It has a lot of slip (slippery elm extract is the 5th ingredient). I love how a "smoothing" cream doesn't have 'cones in it. I added this to freshly washed hair, put in hair in 4 large twists and the next day is soft, frizz free hair. The scent is hard to describe, but it reminds me of a light musk mixed with some sort of fruit. I love it.

Miss
Kyra's Untimate Cupuacu Curl Cream - Where do I start? This cream leaves white balls in my hair upon application even on naked hair. At first I though it was because I may have had some gel from the previous day in my hair, but even on freshly washed hair, it does the same thing. Forget putting it on dry hair. Though glycerin is far down on the list of ingredients, this cream separates each and every curl into one my frizz ball like its #2 on the list - dew or no dew. I guess that's what happen when you order from a new company that may not be as precise on measurements, ingredient labels, etc. I like natural and some artificial vanilla scents, but this one is borderline nauseating.
