I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone that has been there for me whenever I had 200 questions about hair care! I joined this forum last year after being a Lurker for many months, and I must say that this is one of the best things that has ever happened to me and my hair.

I went from dyeing and frying my hair, to natural for 2 yrs, to a hair-educated relaxed head. I never thought BEFORE that african-american hair could grow to a point that not many people realize. Well I am happy to say that I can vouch and say that race does not determine hair length. Thank you once again to all my hair sisters, cousins, and MOMMAZ!! May your knowledge of hair spread to each and every one that needs it.

Also I just wanted to tell all those out there that feel like their hair isn't growing, or you are not achieveing your goals, to stay positive and continue to treat your hair right. What ever you take care of will flourish. Our hair is like a plant, if you do not take care of it, it will die. Lol in this case break off!! So if your goal is not being achieved dont be discouraged... Take pictures and see that thang soreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Also the pic in my siggy is a Wig that I am currently using to stretch my relaxer to 13 weeks. I am currently at 9 weeks post with a jungle of new growth. YAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! BSL.... im coming for you. Attachment shows recent pic!

That's a braidout. For this one, I think I just did 6 braids while wet and rolled the ends on blue flexirods.

lol i tried on like 20 wigs b4 i found this one.... which is PERFECT! i tweaked it a lilttle with the color pieces but its called LULU made by Outre Quick Weave... and i bought it at a bss called Beauty Pro in Gaithersburg, MD.

you could probably google it with the name I have in bold... HTH

after putting on the wig it jus fell into place... its really light and has a fake scalp at the top so it looks real. you can put your own bangs out in the front but i put my whole head in a wig cap and let this wig do all the talking lol.

but i took like 3 color strands about an inch wide and glued them to the sides of the wig. i like color but will never dye my hair (bad experience) so i always put glued color pieces in my hair. i like how it came out in the wig. its easy... jus put some strands from the wig hair up, place the glued track piece under it, hold in place for like a minute, then let the wig hairs fall back on top of it.

(just in case you dont want to accidentially flat iron the wig hairs because its not human, curl the track color piece B4 placing the glue and putting it on the wig. HTH)

Girl, you are very talented with the weaves and wigs. Every single style that you did was gorgeous and really fit your cute face. I totally enjoyed your FOTKI and saved you as one of my favorites. You have had awesome progress. Do tell what your regimen is and what products you are using? I am also a 4B relaxed. I am currently on 13 weeks and 3 days post. I know I will make it to week 14 which is Monday, but may goes as far as week 15 and definitely relax before I go on vacation that week. TIA
