No, I wish! I got my first lye relaxer at age 7, broke my hair off no matter how much Perm Repair, VO5 Hot Oil Treatment, bergamot grease, placenta conditioner, etc my mother used. Next, was the curl; I was the first in school to get one. That was my staple for the rest of my teens and 20s. I had a feeling even in my teens at I would go natural, not under mom's roof, though. I tried the no-lye for 3 years, broke my hair off, no matter what I had used (Dudley's was the tops back then and not cheap) or what my stylists tried (weekly professional deep treatments, for example). Went back to the curl all by my lonesome, until I got sick of getting my hair done and wasting money. Grew and cut out the curl and tried to switch to texturizing... broke my hair off. I was done for life. Are you a life long napp, like @Froreal3?
Step into the bad siiiide, step into the bad, bad siiiide
You're welcomeThis is gonna be stuck in my head now. Thanks LOL!
Natural since July 2016
Natural for life. the closest I've been to relaxed is heat trained in my teens. I don't see a point in using a relaxer tbh, my hair gets super straight when flat ironed
I'm relaxed but I might be transitioning. I don't know. I got 13 weeks of new growth and I'm ready to big chop.
Why do lace fronts hate my edges? I could just wear those for life and be happy.
I may be at the point where a twa is calling me. I think I've been tired of long hair for a while now but scared to commit. So soon? How come?
