I Hate Her With All My Being, But I Am Learning To Let It Go

I had a loving mother who passed away but for some strange reason the women in my family thought they could play motherly figure in a verbally abusive way. I let them know real quick I have been raised by a loving mother and Im not going to get used to bad treatment.

I had a similar experience. People think once your mom is gone that you will be vulnerable or desperate for a mother. But if your mom made you feel loved you are far stronger than they realize, especially once you get past the hardest part of the grieving process.
