I am glad that I never got used that stuff. I never liked the way it made my hair feel. I could never seem to get it to "melt" in.

But, we always had it around for some reason.

I hate how thick it is! You can put a drop in your hand, hold it upside down, and it'll just STICK!. And I like to apply moisturizers to damp hair but with that crap you can't even finger comb your hair - it's the same consistancy as glue.

I probably started using because I was using that brand of perm at one time or another. I think I used the shampoo and conditioner I seem to remember some old bottles of the stuff lying around here somewhere. Like somebody else said early on in the thread I don't remember it being that bad, didn't make me bald headed. It just got phased out as I grew up... I was probably still using it in my early years at college.

I too liked pink oil. It really mad my hair look good and it didn't look dry. My hair was mid back length while using it. I am natural. I was in high school then.

I was introduced to this product by my cousin...the thing that still boggles me is that her hair was never damaged or a greasy mess by this. But if I used it or if anyone I knew used it that pink mess would ruin the hair and make it hot mess.

Girls at school was using it and I decided to try it. Both my mom and me tried it once and hated it. I think that was high school.

I'm the only one who Pink oil did right, eh?:perplexed My hair loved the stuff! It grew long and strong with it. I just wet my hair, put a dime size of pink oil and bunned my hair. I had no hair trauma until I stopped using it. Go figure.:lachen:

My aunt used to use it in her salon for years so that where I was introduced to it. I started buying motions stuff when I started working. I didn't have an issue with pink oil though. I don't get why people hate it with a passion like that.

It was always there - my mom had it, my aunts had it, my girlfriends had it. I don't remember a time without it as a youngin.
