How many of you gals go to the salon?

I started out going every two weeks for wash and set and noticed my hair was thinning(heat from Dryer), then I start going every 12 weeks for relaxer. The longer I stretched my relaxer the more they were charges me. So I had my sister to do my relaxers. Went back for a wash and set for a special occasion and they charged me more because my hair was longer. I decided I will only go for special occasions when I am not Protective Styling.

I go for sew ins...But I probably wont for now..They are too rough with my hair.

The last time I went to the salon was in August for a wash and set and rinse color and I must say that it wasnt worth the money or the time. I was treating myself for my bday and honestly I could have done as well if not better by my own hand. I have always been a DIYer, I just go to the salon for a treat. But I am more than capable of doing everything myself. But I started doing my hair myself in junior high so I am not afraid of doing it myself. Like with anything else it takes practice
