My hair is severely dry at times, so I deep condition for at least an hour. Most times, though, I deep condition for two and half. It does not hurt to do this. My hair is so soft afterwards.:D

I deep conditon 2x per week for 30 minutes. I do 15 mins with ORS hair mayonaise then rinse and apply keracare humecto for 15 mins.

I deep condition without heat every weekend. On the rare occasion I'd use my heating cap.
Today I think I am going to do my deep condition while I sit in the steam room at the gym, I've never done that before, but I think it might be a great way to look forward to working out each weekend. :D

A few hours usually.

I usually deep condition while getting on with other tasks, and wash out the conditioner when I can be bothered to.

Wow that sounds like a good idea!

really depends. Sometimes overnight in plastic cap if hair seems dry.
Sometimes 20 minutes under hot dryer.
Most of the time 5 minutes in hot steaming shower

That sounds like a wonderful idea, thanks! Let us know if you try it!

between 15 and 45 minutes depending on what Im using.. sometimes with heat sometimes without..

Im so inconsistent

I deep con every week with heat for 20-30 mins. Lately I have been using Macherieamour's method (ORS Mao + steaming towel + plastic cap)and counting that as my deep con.

Interesting - I deep treat every weekend for at least 2-3 hours, sometimes overnight if I don't feel like getting in the shower before bed. Leaving conditioner on for 15-20 minutes jsut gets my hair soft enough to comb through without ripping it out - if I want it to stay moisturized for a whole week (even with daily leave-ins) I HAVE to condition it for at least 2hours - and I've noticed the longer, the better.

It might be because I put honey in my conditioner, and that doesn't have an 'expiry' time......

I deep condition for 15 minutes with a heating cap 3 times with 5 minute intervals in between. So it adds up to an hour.

Lately I've been deep conditioning overnight

Most times about 30 mins

Anything over 30 mins is simply cuz I'm being too lazy to rinse it out

30 minutes with heat is enough...I think anything longer is overconditioning...especially if you are using heat...

I DC for 45 - 60 under a dryer. I used to do it every week..now I am trying to reduce the amount of deep conditioning because I think I have overconditioned my hair.

How do you know when you have over conditioned your hair?
