I should use this stuff more often on my hair, but I always wind up eating it!:lachen:

LOL! I know. I did that once, too. Once I ran out of plain yogurt and only had a fat free lemon one in the fridge. I was a little afraid to use that on my cassia, though. But, still I wonder what difference it would make.

:lachen: :lachen: Y R U soooooo....crazzay?! Yep, it's official, I'm on board with the NTM. My hair turned out sooo nice!

Now, I'm on the hunt for some Suave Milk and Honey Conditioner (though I think this is futile cause I think it's gone, all gone...but I hope...!) I need a replacement for my DDTA which is almost gone, FINALLY!

..Girl....I think the only way lately to run across a bottle of the original formula Milk & Honey is at a swap meet - if I run across one at a bodega or summin...I'll mail it to you...but the only ones I've seen, is the new formula that nobody wants...:ohwell:

And I can't believe you practically used up all 36.5 bottles of DDTA that you had in your hair arsenal!  Wowwwwwwwwww son!

OT: I'll also be working on something else for you this week...that's hella late...:look:

I cannot wait to get to that. I have some in my PJ closet. It is in line in the quest to Use It Up. I cannot wait!

My mom swore by the black malva shampoo for years. She has gray hair, and it's supposed to make it appear more silvery. Isn't that one of the shampoos they're discontinuing? I thought I saw that on the Aveda website a while back.

Pleasssssse tell me they are not discontinuing this!!! I used to use this back in the day long before I ever discovered LHCF. Then a few weeks ago my hubby was getting his hair cut and there is a BSS within the barbershop/salon. He pointed out the poo to me and I snatched it up. It is soooo good. It really does make the hair delightfully dark. I love that I don't have to shell out $$$$ to order indigo and go thro the whole rigmarole that entales. I really like it and I'm kinda coveting the matching conditioner now too.

I tried Elasta QP mango butter on freshly pooed hair and I loved the results :D , I was too lazy to go down stairs and get my leave-ins last night once I rinsed out my DC and decided to just used that, put my hair in 5 big twist and let it airdry overnight. It left my hair feeling nice and soft, shiney w/o that buttery feel.

I got frisky this weekend and tried Soy Milk plain yogurt and Buffalo Milk Plain yogurt mixed in with my cassia powder. The Buffalo milk yogurt seemed thicker and the Soy milk plain yogurt was darker in color and creamier. I saw them on sale at a health food store and decided to try something different.
HoneyDew, you turned me on to yogurt in my henna. Thanks so much.

My HIT for the month: Herbal Essence Hello Hydration! I used this after my henna treatment today and my hair just melted into softness. Amazing moisture and slip! I love the body my hair has now and the smell is so pretty.

Another hit: Herbal Essences Break's Over Leave in... Thanks ladies for the rec. I used a bit on dry hair and it's really nice. Can't wait to try it on wet hair.

Also pick up some Dove Advanced Color Care Reviving Mask on clearance. I hope I likey!

MY NEW LOVE A HIT BOUNDLESS TRESSES HAIR FEELS SO GOOD AND SMELLS GOOD TOO:lol:  AND IT GROWS HAIR CANT BEAT THAT:lachen:

Hit: AO Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner mixed with Jojoba oil as a prepoo (w/heat cap) This was awesome!:)

Keracare Hydrating Shampoo: I had this sitting around forever, even before joining LHCF a year ago. I forgot how moisturizing and detangling it is! Staple rotation with my Elucence!!!:)

Haven't tried too much new yet, so no misses!

The only place I've seen carry this is Duane Reade pharmacy but I don't know if you have that out there.

Oooh, that does sound yummy! :p

Ooo, try it girl. It was great! I was so tempted not to do anything else to my hair. I really didn't need to wash and condition, I just did it cause I following my regimen, but my hair felt thick, clean, and extremely moisturized after just rinsing out the prepoo. :D

I love my Temple Balm too. I just started using it at the beginning of the month and even when I miss days, my hair still thrives with this product.

Mona that was a mouthful!! lol Thanks girl!!

LocksOfLuV & BeautifulWideEyes - I'm off to update the siggy. :)

On the fence about this one: CHI Silk Infusion Silk Recontructing Complex

I am a creature of habit (although, you can't tell by my PJ closet) and this just did not give my wet hair the same feel as my Fantasia IC straightening serum (pink bottle).

I have used it a few times and my hair did feel silky at wash time, but, :look: I dunno something just ain't the same.

I used some tonight before airdrying and flatironing, but I still topped it off with some of the Fantasia IC serum. For that price, I may not re-purchase. We'll see by the end of the 2 oz. bottle. :)

Thanks for posting about the Length and Strength con. I just bought this today from Target, They had it packaged with a free 3.4 oz of L&S shampoo and free music download for $2.69. I love conditioners. They are truly my weakness.

FYI: They had the poos with free trial size cons and vice versa.

I used this last week and the scent was yummy and it was not harsh at all on my strands! That might put my Suave Daily Clarifying into retirement...
