About the Dove, I didn't like it on dry hair, but it has MEGA detangling properties on wet hair. That itself may make me repurchase.

You know what.....that's why I think I like it....cause I'm 9 weeks post touch up....and that sucka is helping me through until I restock on my beloved Kids Detangling.....so it's a hit for that reason....

but I definitely feel the other ladies reaction about it...I didn't hate it initially, but hearts wasn't floating over my head either.:ohwell:

It's a bomb detangler!- so...what is that? a semi-hit?

Does this conditioner really clarify?

If you're asking about the VO5 Tea Therapy - that's what the label says.

I've used the V05 Kiwi and Lime for clarifying and it worked great.

I haven't had an opportunity to use the Tea Therapy one yet as I just purchased, but I love the Tea Therapy Nourishing Conditioner , so I thought I'd give this a try (for 99 cents)

ETA: Tried it on 2/24 - MISS - I can take a pass on the VO5 Tea Therapy Vanilla Clarifying Conditioner-I didn't get that "squeaky" thing happening like I would with the Kiwi & Lime. But it's nice just as a cheapie conditioner and it smells good, so not a total loss.

I just remembered:
HIT: Nacidit Aceite de Aguacate Rinse->my hair felt hydrated and it gave me that coveted slip, slip, slip!

Undecided: Nacidit Aceite de Oliva Shampoo-> it did not feel moisturizing to me. I had to follow it with my Keracare Hydrating. I only used it once so far and I plan to give it another chance.

since I am trying to cut down on the products I don't have many hits or misses.
Hit: Paul Mitchel Awapuhi Shampoo

Wow.....I actually could feel her pain miles away......

--------------------------------------------------------------
*adding to try out list for February, will give feedback*
*looks around for Priestess* :look:

I picked up the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave In Conditioning Cream.

*I don't even know why I got it...before I knew it...it was in my basket*
:look:

Got another hit:

Revisted- MNT Conditioner for cowashing alone. My hair had been breaking & I haven't had the time lately to do a full wash and DC with emergencee so I opted to cowash with MNT only (I usually use MNT & HH). My breakage went out the window! ... and my hair was sooo soft!:D I love it! It's cheap and it works wonders!

aussie Hair Insurance (tip protector + leave-in conditioner).

:ohwell:

coated, crunchy, stiff hair. hated it. i don't think my hair likes anything bearing the name "leave-in conditioner".

i have officially given up looking for a good store bought leave-in and will stick with what's working.

Which MNT conditioner: regular (yellow) or deep conditioning (blue)? I was surprised that there are 2 types of condish. :)

hit: redken hair cleansing cream

miss: paul mitchell super skinny shampoo and conditioner. my hair nor my daughter's hair didn't like it. i taking stuff back so i'm gonna stick with it to see if it changes and i'll post another review for march.

Major Hit: Kenra MC Conditioner

OMG, what took me so long to try this?!? thank you ladies, ya'll wasn't playing with this one....it smells divine, it makes my hair feel like super silky butter....I just found another life time companion:):):)

The regular one. I couldn't believe how soft and manageable my hair was. It probably had something to do with the oils that had been in my hair all week. Either way, it helped my breakage! HTH. :)

Revisited HIT: Chi Silk Infusion. I added a palm full of this stuff to my dripping wet hair, dried under the hooded dryer, then added more to my hair after it dried, then flat ironed. My hair got silky smooth and straight even though I only set the flat iron to 250 degrees.

HIT: Neutral Hennalucent (from Sally's). The new organic formula was pretty good. It made my hair feel heavy and thick.

Other HITS:
Porosity Control Conditioner
Amla Oil

How much did that run you.

$4. And I'm telling you Gym, I'm thinking about stretching for another 4 weeks or so, because after the Hennalucent and the CHI, this is the best my hair has ever felt w/o going to the salon since I've been relaxed. You are the one that pushed me over the edge with the Henna though, I was going to be content never to try it out!

HITS:
Carols Daughter Healthy Hair Butter
Kids Organic Shea Butter (I can only use it when my hair CRAVES moisture, not everyday)
John Freida Dream Curls (blended my ng with the rest of my hair and it all had the same curl....also works great for my lacefront)

Big Hit

LeKair Cholesterol Plus - I'm still trying to figure out what drug I was on that made me sleep on this product for so long. I tried it last night for deep conditioning and my hair was so soft and it cooperated with me all night.

Did your scalp tingle when you used it. I used this and my scalp was tingling the entire time.

Hit:

Sunsilk "No Major Issues" shampoo for clarifying. I was very happy. This one seems good for those of us with Hardwater.

Okay, if I see Honeydew, Letitia, MonaLisa, and a few of y'all others back in this thread talking bout what y'all done tried, its gonna be smoke in the city!!

Im gonna call all the BSS and tell them to keep y'all azzes out of the stores!! Y'all some serious PJs!  j/k

:lachen: :lachen:

I know girl! I was bad. I bought 2 bottles of that shampoo last week. But, hey I did report back to yall about it! :)

Okay one more HIT (Shunta you gonna have to call the Dollar Store, too!)

Citre Shine Instant Conditioner. This was a nice rinse for slippage after my henna treatment today. (Shunta I get a pass for this one. I bought this one 3 months ago and I am trying to USE IT UP! ;) )

No, I didn't get any tingle. All I added was WGO and Amla oil though.

MISS:

Ensure conditioner by Nexxus. It was a nightmare in a bottle. It smells bad and my hair is brittle. Also, it stung like crazy because it is acidic.

I wouldnt give this to my worst enemy!!!
