I love my hair but I sure do wish it was all one texture. It is so hard trying to find styles that compliment 50-11 different textures. I got straightish in the front (no it is not heat damaged), kinky in the middle and loose curls in the back. WnGs look a hot mess. Even puffs look like I got a tail. I cant do twists because of the front not cooperating and the back do want to stay either. I didnt have much of a problem when it was super short but as it grows out it is very challenging.

Yes, I love what God gave me. It's me. I've always worn it in the same styles though. Ready for something new - maybe shorter.

I love my hair texture like I love my family and freinds

sometimes they piss me off but our love for each other cannot be denied.. :)

We have lots of fun together :)

Yes, I love it

LunadeMiel what the hayell?!!! Where did all of that hair come from? Wow!!! I've always been a fan, but your hair is on a whole notha level now!

I like my texture but I wish I could do fun stuff like wash and go's but with my texture there is n way I could do it. After it dries my hair will shrink and matt up like nobodys business. So my answer was, I'm just happy to have hair on my head.

99% of the time. Except when its not doing what I want. Even then I don't see it as a texture issue.

I love my hair, but I do wish sometimes that it was all the same texture. I have some areas that are curlier, some that are wavy, some fine, some coarse, some kinky. If I could have it all one texture, I wouldn't care which one it was.

No. and thats what is taking me so long to do the big chop.
I really hope that one day I will not view my hair as the short end of the genetic stick.

LunadeMiel Oh my.  Your hair has grown so much!
Now my hair just feels and looks anorexic to me coz I have my hair in the very same hair style as the one in your pic and it is nowhere near as long or thick :nono:.

But, to answer the question, yes, I do love my hair! :D

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Today I'm having a good hair day, yesterday I was contemplating a texturizer. I will say this though, the longer it gets the more I like it.

I love my textures, but of course there are days I see someone with a different set of curls and wish I had theirs. Would I trade my hair in--no! But I get a little green once in a blue moon

I LOOOVVVVEEEE my texture!!!

I've honestly thought to myself and verbally told my sister "I can't BELIEVE this is my hair!" And she said, "I know! Makes you wonder why we ever got relaxers in the first place!!"

I don't think I can specify exactly what "type" it is because I have spirals that will fit a sharpie marker and a pencil, some that are straight, some that are perfect o's, some that look like stretched springs...it's such a variety! And I LOVE it!

I think in sum, it's probably closer to what some consider 4a. It's fat and thick! And did I mention I LOVE IT?!!!

I don't know what else to say...I just LOVE it!:infatuated:

Just like almost everything else in life-it depends on the day you ask me. Lol. Today I do. Tomorrow I might have a pair of shears ready to cut it off. Most days I love my hair. :)

I am LOVING the honesty that everyone is expressing about their textures and it definitely lets me know I am not alone!! :)

I love my hair - every kink, curl, coil and wayward strand of it!

There's nothing better than plunging my fingers through my little curls after air drying, they're so soft!

At first I didn't, then, I started loving it. Recently, a couple of GROWN A$$ MEN, tried to say I had a bad grade of hair and I should get a perm. (they didn't say that to my though) That hurt, but I still LOVE my texture!

These words (bolded) should be stricken from the lexicon of humanity! What a load of crap - I'm glad you have a strong enough sense of self to know that it's been said but KIM anyway! :)

I like my curl pattern, but I wish my texture wasn't so porous. I know how to work with it though so its all good.

Sometimes, I do. Sometimes, I don't. But, that's the great thing about transitioning. I'm learning about my hair texture and how I'll behave towards it.

It is fine and it is mine!!! Sometimes it can't get "ack right" in its life, and sometimes its smooth as "butta". At any rate, its my head of hair and I love it!

uuummm...i love being natural and i enjoy my hair most of the times. but i had a big wake up call when i just put some yarn braids in my hair this week. my hair is coarse and extremely, extremely thick! i see other ladies able to braid their hair in four sections in order to wash it or for styling purposes. my hair is too thick to only put into four sections! its so unbelievable to me.

i have little pathces on my head from whatever, whether i accidently cut it from removing a weave install or if it didnt detangle that part well enough. nevertheless you cant even notice it or find it if you tried because i still have so much hair on my head...ive always wondered how does hair get soo thick? is it the strands or the amount of strands that determine thickness? :/

so because of the thickness...doing my hair on a constant basis is annoying to me.

I'm learning to appreciate it. I grew up not liking it at all and would relax bone straight every month just to not see it.

Since finding this site; I've learned to appreciate it; even transitioned before but now I'm barely telaxed!!!

I voted it's Aight.... Truth is I wish my hair was a different texture... I have the kinkiest 4z hair you can imagine... Hard, and unruly... Been natural last 3 years and I have had a lot of setbacks and may need to cut off half of it (press and curl mishap ruined at least 6 - 7 inches, weave mishap, blowdrying mishaps, manipulation mishaps) .... I had really nice relaxed hair so I'm kinda biased.. My relaxed hair was perfect, then I caught the natural bug....

I know that God made everyone and everything perfect, so I'm sure my hair texture is perfect in God's eyes (and in our eyes too because we are made in his image).. However, I am yet to see what God sees as perfect for our hair.. because we have been so corrupt with the world's definition of beautiful hair.

I've been thinking about it, and my hair texture is perfect for cornrows and dreadlocks and all the amazing styles that come with it. Also perfect for a once fro (looks amazing but the tangles are just evil).... Maybe the style for 4zzzz hair like mine is cornrows, twists and dreads... If that's what God intended (i'm thinking so now.. lol) .. Then I have perfect hair.

Now that was just a mini-rant because I have been frustrated a lot.... I know products that work for my hair, I'm still trying to get the technique down cos I've been relaxed my whole life.... For now, I plan to cornrow my hair till I get to my waist... Currently at APL.

Love my hair texture too. I wish it was more uniform though, the different textures drive me nuts sometimes, but nothing can be done about that...its all part of the game, the mystery that I am always trying to figure out. I enjoy that, otherwise I might get bored.

My hair and I are cool. There are times that I envy those with silkier textures and at times were I am drooling over the thick dense kinky hair. Then I'll have a hair day that has me in the mirror, like Dayum girl, is that you!! Oh you fancy, huh?! , as I am peeking over my shoulder and blowing kisses to myself. :look: Come on, I know I'm not the only one.

So I guess it just depends on what day you catch me, but overall I like my hair.
