I'm scared to. I could start and try to track this year. I've spent $101 even so far.:look:

ETA: We should do a study and figure out the relationship between the amount of $$ spent on hair products, styling and the length of the hair/growth.:spinning::lachen:

NOPE! Ignorance is sooooooooooo bliss when it comes to spending money on my hair:grin:. I have tried and tried to stop and pay attention to what I'm spending for her, but she throws a serious tantrum when she can't get what she wants:lachen:. You know, I think I'll put my foot down sometime soon, IDK when though:look:.

I just tallied off the top of my head and I know I've left something out but wow, I think I might have a problem...
Tee hee!

Nope, I don't! But for our hair, I believe the money (if we have it) is worth it! We spend a lot on shoes, clothes, and other things, why skimp on the health of our hair! I used to make wish lists of purses, shoes and books I wanted...now my list consists of natural ingredients, condishes, etc...LOL

Um, not really :look: I give myself a set amount every month and try not to go over that, but I've never physically tallied that amount together to know. Ignorance really is bliss...

I have selective memory when it comes to hair so the answer to that would be.........."what was the question again?"

i have spent $30 so far this year. i know that i will buy have to restock my supply, but i haven't went crazy with the hair products in a long time. i found what has worked for me, plus i'm trying to grow my hair out and i don't want any setbacks from trying something new or different all of the time.

Oooh, your hair is so purdy! Love the siggy pic!

Kinda, I keep all my receipts, but I've never added everything up to see how much I've spent on hair so far.

Yes, we track every penny that comes in and goes out of our household.

January 2009 hair care spending:
KBB hair milk, KBB hair nectar, KBB luscious locks, trader joe's Nourish Spa condish, Trader Joe's Refresh condish, jojoba oil, Mya II wig

$92.19

It all appears to me spent on my hair, but DH pays about $60 to have his locks retwisted every 4 - 6 weeks.

I am in the make it work challenge so wont be adding any new products till may.......which means really cutting down on what i spend.

I am not yet at that stage of my journey where i can say i have found the best regime and products for my hair...............:nono:

This is what a true pj would say :giggle:. Tryna rationalize for it eh? lol I know i spend too much on my hair. AND I get bored quick so I always wanna try something new :ohwell:

I don't either I have my staples so I rarely venture out... unless its a product that I know will help me that I don't have... Like a good heat protectant for instance

ha....I am better than yall, I have not spent a penny on hair products this year:grin:

Cornrows are not a product, so they don't count:rolleyes:

Ignorance really is bliss
:look:

Yall can get a sista divorced and everything because of money spent on hair...yall should hear me trying to explain to DH why my hair needs this that and the other:ohwell:

Usually i just try and set a budget of like 25.00 bucks a month on products but, i always go over that...i need my oils...WGO, JOJOBA, ALMOND OIL EXC....and my vitamins because i take like 4 pills a day and other stuff.:spinning:

NOPE,lol, but my last trip to Sally's a week ago, I spent over $170.00 there. In the end it's worth it, just like when people in general spend over 100's of dollars on shoes etc, why not do the same for your hair? I'm an addictive shopper anyway, so when I get loose in ANY type of store,I'm like a kid in a toy shop or candy shop, lol :lachen:. You would be amazed as to how much damage I can do in a store in just 10 to 30 minutes, lol. Give me a 100 bucks and 10 minutes in a Beauty Supply store, I want come out with any money left, but I will come back out with two to three bags of stuff, lol.
