Do you all get lazy w/your hair??

I went through my lazy period which caused me to cut my hair. My regimen is simple so I'm going to stick with it and hopefully I won't have anyymore setbacks!

I guess I’m considered lazy:ohwell:. I’ve been wearing my hair down since Monday, and it feels like so much work. Tomorrow I will be in the BSS getting a synthetic Lacefront so that I can go back to my cornrows, baggying during the night and keeping my hair wet during the day.. Love it!

I have had lazy periods (led to a setback, not the only cause of the setback but it had a major role in it) but I think now my lazy periods are not so bad - I make sure I cowash and DC and also moisturise as many times as I often do but that's where it ends... braidouts, rollersets, any styling that requires extra time than just pinning my hair up, slapping on a headband and going - I just can't be bothered with most times.

Being lazy is why I only wash once a week and I DC on dry hair. I also only do ponytail rollersets because I don't feel like rollersetting the typical way.

I've been lazy with my hair for the past year and it has done me good! LOL I used to be a serious PJ, washing and DCing every 3 - 4 days, putting anything and everything in my hair to make it softer and grow faster. Now all I do is wash 1x a week, DC when I feel I need it and the only moisturizer I use is 100% pure unrefined Shea Butter. The only style I've done is bunning. I'm trying to K.I.S.S and it's worked for me.

Gurllll please, since having my kids, I don't want to touch my hair...but I still want it to look good. I go for simple styles that will last like twists, cornrows or I'll blowout and wear buns.

I get lazy with my hair all the time....I will probably skip my DC or a wash that week. I might miss moisturizing for 2 days. I need stop neglecting my hair so much. As a matter of fact let me moisturize now.

Girl yes, I did a month ago and I'm about to get lazy again cuz it's too hot, I just kept my hair bunned all the time----24/7, the only time I took it down was to wash my hair and bunned it right back up....and then i started going crazy cuz I got my new GVP flat iron, and flat iron like crazy, so right now I'm bunning again and I only blow dry when I wash which will be once or twice a month(I know gross, but I'm trying to do a experiment and not bother my hair as much), and see how much length I will retain.....Imma see how this will work and if not then I'm gong back to washing my hair once a week........but yea I feel you!

I have always been lazy when it comes to styling my hair. Thats why I always paid a hairdresser. When that style started looking bad I would slap it in a ponytail until my next appointment thats why I dont have an issue with protective styling. I have promised my self to moisturize every night, tie my hair up every night and dc 1 a week. So far I have stuck with this plan since I have been at LHCF because I want to reach my goals. I think I have used heat 2 maybe 3 times since I have been here because. I am trying to grow out damage but mainly because I am lazy.

I've been totally lazy with my hair since the beginning of the year!
Had it in twists for months, hair was all locked up, no consistent DC nothing! dem locs were not a good look...

This weekend it's ON though...check this out:
Overnight pre-poo with Amla oil or coconut oil
Co-wash
Two minute Aphogee protein
DC with my Healthy Sexy Hair Pumpkin Puree Treatment Masque for a good hour (15 minutes with heat)
Porosity Control it for a few minutes
Shea butter it and chunky braid it up for a chunky braid out prep next weekend and seal with coconut oil if I used Amla oil as a pre-poo or with jojoba oil if I used coconut oil as a pre-poo.
Mid-week remoisten with Aloe Vera concoction spritz

I need a few weeks of good hair care and protein treats before I do my first blow-dry in 2.5 years in June! Wow...that will be some picture heavy moment!!!!

I've been lazy for the last 18 months. I even stopped coming here.

The only things I did continually was keep my my relaxing regimen, wear a satin cap in the house and at night, and deep condition after every wash. My washes decreased dramatically from the twice a week I started out with.

I'm getting back in the swing of things after I did my relaxer last week. I even visited a real BSS and felt my old PJ'ism coming back a bit.

I'm going through a lazy moment. It's been a month since I decided to only wash n dc once a week. Before then, I was doing it 2x a week. I like my phony ponies, a whole lot.

Yes my lazy points are not rolling or pincurling my hair at night. My hair NEEDS this b'c it doesnt stay curled all week like some people hair does. So when I don't I forfced to reflat iron (a HUGE nono), or pin up in a french roll and I can stand those hair pins. Either way not good for the hair.

But when I rewash I NEVER slack. I'm always doing some treatment or DC...I love giving my hair the royal spa treatment.

My regimen is so easy that even if I am lazy, i still give my hair what it needs.
I am taking a shower every day so then I am also taking care of my hair at the same time by co-washing :yep:

I'm good at the washing and conditioning of my hair but I am so lazy when it comes to the styling. The biggest problem is my scalp- I don't know what to do but I can't go more than a few days without washing before it starts flaking up and getting irritated. So my usual ho-hum styles are protective and good for my hair but they are so boring- I don't feel like I look pretty. I bought a wig which is nice but it would be nice to work with my real hair more often. However, I think it's better for my hair to not manipulate it into a style that I can't keep for more than a day or two before my scalp starts acting up. :ohwell:

Yes, trying to take care of 3 other heads doesnt always leave time for mine.My dh(3c/4a) is sholder lenth with braids, ds1(3c) is mbl w/braids:lick: and ds2(3c) has a twa.But I am trying to get better with caring for mine.

I went through a lazy period this year for sure: not DCing under heat, not detangling properly, and not moisturizing daily . But I feel like I caught a second wind and may finish this year with some momemtum.

I get lazy with it all the time. And there are days when I know I should do a deep con and I just dont feel like dealing with it. But I know if my hair needs moisture i'll do a co-wash or add moisturizre and add oils. Your not alone :)

I am sitting here, catching up on my OnDemand shows, staring at my hair which needs to be washed and twisted. This thread is making me get up any quicker.
