Did you take time of the month into account when choosing your special day?

Since there is going to be some action on the wedding night and through out the honey moon, did you consider your monthly cycle when picking a day?

I know I definitely will LOL. That night will be my first time and I'm not letting some vaginal Kool-Aid preventing me from getting some!

Definitely. No one wants to worry about that in the white dress - not to mention the honeymoon. Mine is religiously at the end of the month like clockwork. Unfortunately, I married on 10/31 and it was the only day available. So I went to my GYN a few months earlier and he put me on the pill on a specific day which forced my period earlier (or later than usual). I do not remember the specifics because I have been married for a minute but it definitely worked.

Funny thing, I actually did take that time of the month into consideration, and I planned for a week when I wasn't supposed to be on. Strangely enough my cycle decided to switch days that month:wallbash: and it just HAD to switch to the time I was planning our wedding/honeymoon.

I was ok for our wedding night, but we had a week long honeymoon, and halfway through the honeymoon, it came. Not too bad, but still really annoying.

That's what I did.My period was due around our date but its special to me so I just rearranged my monthly!lol

Same here. If you are going to do this, don't wait until the month before. Give yourself a couple of months to make sure the dates are where you want them to be.

Yes we took it into account. Didn't want to worry about my white dress, messing up our handling of business or any surprises when we got home:) Therefore our date was seriously deliberated on together.

Not married yet but I intend to take bc pills a few months before to ensure my period comes before/after the honeymoon.

When setting a date, that's the first thing I did. I whipped out a year calendar and figured my on-week and XXXXXXX'd those bad boys. :yep:

Couldn't miss out on honeymoon action! Plus it would have me more emotional, who wants to be in a big dress worrying about changing a pad..with an un-white color:ohwell:, and I don't do swimsuits during that week.
