Dear Vendor(s):

... and don' t lie it melted in transit in mid-October when we both live in the north and then advice me to melt it and whip it back. If I wanted to be standing in my kitchen whipping butters, I would have not bought any from you.

@Ogoma

Exactly!:look:

Dear Vendor:

Please don't make me.....Like your Facebook, follow you on Instagram, follow you on Twitter, then retweet your tweets, subscribe to your newsletter, blah blah blah to be able to access your sale code.

Why are you making me jump through hoops to give you my money??

Dear Vendor:

Don't be posting no craziness like this:

Due to the Drought in Eastern/Western African The Price of Pure Yellow Shea Butter with the Pearly White Specks has gone up, The Olives in the Oil has skyrocketed from our previous Suppliers, The Coconut Oil on the Coconut Trees have dried up..therefore I must increase the prices of...........

Dear Vendor:

Don't Be having FLASH Sales when you know everybody is either at work or Sleep for no short time frames.

And Don't be having no Secret Discount Codes.

And Don't have no Sales but turn around and say: "Sale Prices do not apply to our Curly-Whippy-Whip or our Curly-Whippy-Whip Kits"

:lachen::lachen:I'm mad that a lot of these things you ladies are mentioning are really going to still happen though. We gotta go through allll that just to save a few dollars smh.

Dear Vendors:

Prepare in advance for your sales. Having your customers wait two months for items they purchased is unacceptable. Oh and the excuses emails get annoying after the first one.

Ogoma Yep.,^^^You know black Friday,is the same date every year..Start preparing your products waaay in advance..Yep!

Dear Vendor(s)

Please make sure you ship my entire order. Please don't make me prove that you shipped out everything except for two items. It's annoying. Have someone double check the packages before they go to the post office.

Please make sure the labels on my products are in fact for the product I ordered.

Please make sure you send the correct items that I ordered and don't make me jump through hoops trying to get the right ones mailed out to me.

Dear Vendors

If you are Shipping Partial Orders, please let us know.

Don't send 1-2 items and then I have to 'contact you' for you to tell me you are sending the other 2-3 items in another mailing.

This is something, I would appreciate knowing in advance.

This thread is the best and oh so accurate.

Imma need for some of y'all to name names! Who are you ordering from that you saw chipped nail polish and whatnot in your products or telling you that they don't need to sell stuff for a living?

This is why I just can't with certain sectors of the hair industry. :look:

I
- Do not create tracking information for an order that will not ship out immediately. While understanding its benefits to your personal sorting system, all it does it create a false sense of expectation amongst your consumers, which royally pisses them off.

- Again, anything below 20% is NOT a sale.

These 2!!!!!!!

You;'re so right about the false sense of expectation, annoying

and yassssssssssssssssssssss to the below 20%

ok here is my 2 cents let get out of this thread and get out in the internet world and lets boycott this black Friday and ever black Friday after until some of these vendors change there policies and there pricing.

these "small business are realty over pricing there products and all of there cliental is right here in the internet most of these vendors only exist because of us at the very least most of them should be offering free shipping and free samples.

They need our business way more then we need there product.

We should start by writing open letters and posing them across the internet hair platforms and getting out on youtube and on facebook twitter and intergram if they don't make drastic changes for THIS season we boycott them

I set around waiting until what march? for qhemet to have there black Friday sale and all they did was put out 2 products at a time in a store in ATL and charged a arm in a leg for shipping.

they had people refreshing that site like crazy and calling trying to spend 22 on 8oz and 12 dollar shipping it was a hot mess I left it alone but I wondered why did WE keep them in business after that.

and I ordered from that hydroqhenc dog lady with the hair all over product I refused to use.

I was also victim of that god awful flash sale that made up for the madness with a 15% off coupon.

I stop shopping with the small vendors because of all of this but I would like to experience some of these products and I would like to support my own but they are really taking OUR money and running with it we don't need to do things when they get out of control like moptop or sprakflame we need to stop this mess before it happens and demand fair pricing and reasonable shipping and quality products

LOL

This is valid though.:look: If raw material goes up in price, it doesnt surprise me that it will eventually show up in sale price of the finished product..but yea it just better not come up just before a discount sale

Dear Vendors:

I don't know what butter died & made Shea the queen of all hair butters, but pleeeeeeease, switch it up every now & then!

I hate falling in love with a product listed, then I read the ingredients :nono: Not everyone likes/uses/or can tolerate shea. And when I tell you I'm allergic to it & inquire if you will substitute, don't ask me if I'm sure

Ma'am, I'm gonna hafta ask you to step away from your homerow keys.

danniegirl , I am right here with you. I quit my habit when I compared ingredients to ingredients and saw that I could get products just as wholesome and all natural from ethical companies without having to sell off both arms, a leg, and my first born :nono:. It's ridiculous what the natural hair market charges, and some of these vendors could lower their prices with their increased volume but they love for someone to pay $20 per bottle. And then you have the curly/natural hair lines that are very much established, cranking out products in factories- not at home, charging MORE for their junk because they know enough of us will pay those stupid prices.

I just went to curlmart and Ouidad is selling a serum at $42 for 2 oz!! There is nothing in those ingredients to justify that cost! Nothing!

Vendor: "We're raising prices due to the increased price of raw materials."

Oftentimes, though, this is a cop out/lie. Yes raw materials may go up, but usually not enough to justify the vendors significant price hikes. C'mon! If vendors want to raise prices and increase their profit margin, whatev! I'll either buy or I won't, but don't lie!

This right here tells you whether the vendor is running their business like a business or a hobby. If they're making YOU jump through hoops to PROVE that THEY shipped your order, then they are obviously not keeping accurate records of inventory. They should be able to quickly tell that they had 20 units of Miracle Conditioner in stock and sold 15 units of Miracle Conditioner but 6 units are sitting on their shelf.

You having to prove that THEY shipped is a sign of unprofessionalism period.

Dear Vendor: Your products are lined with gold don't charge exorbitant amounts, nor unicorn tears or magic dust. Please stop trying to catch your customers by claiming 3" in a few days, we know it aint real!!!

P.S change your attitude too or we will boycott your products and or services. We work hard for our money.
