1/1/2012 is a new year, a new start.

Who will be clarifying today before tomorrow? Especially because many challenges are starting tomorrow.

What will you be using? I am looking to clarify with Apple Cider Vinegar (1part ACV, 3/4parts water) - has anyone ever used ACV?

I mentioned ACV in my blog (http://bootyfurl.blogspot.com/2011/12/ph-so-sh-read.html) and the importance but you can also watch YouTube videos.

Hmm. I wasn't thinking about doing this, but it seems like a great idea. I have tons of buildup.

I'm going to clarify today with Aveda Scalp Benefits Balancing poo before doing a hard Aphogee protein treatment.

I did a rhassoul clay treatment yesterday :yep:. I will do a formal clarifying treatment next Saturday and then follow with my Aphogee 2-step treatment. Glad to know I'm not alone in loving it .

Also hoping to try rhahassoul clay! What will you be using to clarify? & I know right, aphogee is one of those products that I always go back to :)

I did a bentonite clay treatment yesterday (bentonite clay, aloe vera gel, neem oil and brine water). And followed this up with a henna treatment.

It was a GOOD HAIR day!

That's GOOD news ;) bentonite clay + aloe vera are known to work perfect together :)

Inspiired, I think I'm going to do the acv/water mix followed by Kinky Curly Come Clean.

Also, I was too lazy to do it, but I often mix bentonite and rhassoul clay together with aloe vera juice, some oil, and sometimes agave nectar or something like that. Works very well :yep:.

I will be clarifying with Giovanni Golden Wheat Deep Cleanse Shampoo today and using the Aphogee 2 minute re constructor. It will be great to go into the New Year with a thoroughly clean scalp.

Done! Chelated with ORS Aloe Poo. PC, then DC with my mud mix. Air drying in a pony moisturized with shealoe and sealed with castor & EVOO. Happy New Year!!

#TeamACV!! Love how the pH helps to close our cuticles :)
& mmm that's sound lush! :)

I did a Rhassoul clay treatment today as a prepoo. My hair is so soft right now :lick:

Rhassoul clay and bentonite clay sound like staple sounding products!

Aphogee 2min is another popular product!

Lovelyyy :) what does your mud mix consist of? Happy New Year!

i was going to but i'm going to just do it tomorrow.

i used an apple cider vinegar rinse earlier this month. I wasn't aware it clarified though. I wonder if using that + a clarifying shampoo would be too much. (i planned on clarifying then doing a protein treatment, then dcing, then doing the acv rinse.)

So did you think it was a bit mild for you? What ratio did you use?
