Leesh: Girl I know right? The like with willy wonka and Alice....they put their lil "twist" on it so much..that the whole theme of the movie gets distorted and outta wack lol.

&& Get outta here! lol...when I saw your nickname as "Leesh" I figured your Real name had to be either Alicia, or Delicia (neva would've thought to spell it the way you have it spelled, nice!)
D.Lisha is short for my real name which is--->Darlisha :)

That's not the Disney twist that's the Tim Burton twist! I loved Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka was just alright but I <3 Tim Burton :)

Roxanne (A Goofy Movie)...she was jst so innocent *sigh*

Oh my god, this was one of my favourite movies of all time when I was a kid! I think I've watched it 20 billion times, and twice this year! I loved her to bits!

Why'd y'all have to bring Sailor Moon into this? Oh man, Sailor Pluto's hair is as green as I am jealous!!

The ladies of Sailor Moon were bad, they had a hair color, cut, and style for every flavor.

@Danniquin, Yeah, I know, but Disney did do the remake of "Rapunzel" and changed the title. Its just that when a "Remake" of a classic is done, nowadays, its usually distorted, especially by "Tim Burton", he has a certain perspective, which relays as "Creepy", he's more of a Good, "Horror" story writer, or producer, I should say, cause he didnt write either of those stories, but he put his own twist, which changes the whole element that it once delivered. If my son was small when those came out, He would have been scared to watch them, theyre supposed to be "Happy" movies for children.

Boyy, My son is an adult now, so he likes that Creepy stuff, He loves a "Nightmare before Christmas" and all the other stories that Tim Burton did, He thinks I'm crazy for not likin' it, wait till I tell him there are females that like that stuff! Lol! :yep:

Leesh Yeah I love that creepy stuff too lol...I guess that's why they don't bother me. I didn't know Tangled was supposed to be a retelling of Rapunzel I thought it was one of those modern fairy tale movies that just use a bunch of other characters like Happily Never After or Shrek, but the preview looks funny, so hopefully it won't be too bad.

Leesh: Girl I know right? He has me wanting to know what goes on through his head when it comes to his storylines. Have you seen Caroline? It's so creepy and off, it kinda puts you in the mind of a Stephen King movie. But you gotta admit...alot of his movies are pretty addictive..and with as many twists and turns it may have...you will be planted in your seat until it gets to the end lol. And a couple of days later you will be watching that SAME Tim Burton movie again :yep:. You gotta give it to the man he is a good director.

&& Nightmare before Christmas, is the ONLY animated-horror movie I will still watch to this very day

Girl, I got your back!

Evo-ny: THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!
*sings*--->"Stand out! Above the Crowd! Even if I gotta Shout Out Loud! 'Till Mine is the only face you'll see gonna STANNNDDDD OUTT! 'Til You notice me, yeah!" :pulpdance:
ahhhh....I miss when disney made movies like these

Danniquin: I gotta hand it to my gurl Libby, she does have a nice sized bun....and I love her bang. I wonder how long would her hair be if she let's it all down? :scratchch

Me too, I know they changed her hair style to braids but they were only chin length...I love her bang too.

I love this thread!!! And of course, I found another picture :) Everybody loves Jasmine's hair, look how thick it would be if it was real!

@D.Lisha, Oh Yeah, Now, I'm not knockin' his skills, He is Good! But certain movies his particular style, shouldnt touch! But, No I have'nt seen Caroline, but I kinda wanted too! now his own movies with his original storyline, I do like, and thats mostly due to my son! Chile, as a parent you have to sit thru childrens movies whether you want to or not! and you know what, I always wined up liking them, Lol, also those are great memories to have, especially now, since hes grown and dont wanna be bothered with me nomore!

@D.Lisha

I love this thread. It's too cute. Tons of my favorite people have been named. Chel :love2:, Pocahontas, Storm, Rouge, Esmerelda, pre production Tiana, Jasmine, Ariel (though I hate her), Yoruichi (when my hair gets that long I'm going to cosplay her), and the Chippettes, especially Jeannete.

Pretty much everyone from Sailor Moon tbh. :look: Luna as a human had some gorgeous hair

Scar is inspiring too, he might not have had a thick as mane as Simba but he worked it.

^^ brg240: Thanks chicka! :D. And I HAVE to say, nice touch with the motion gifs. (y didn't I think of using those? lol)
And about the Princess Yum Yum chicka....tell me why I thought she was from a movie that was sort of the "bootlegg" version of Aladdin? :ohwell:

This chick had it all: She was rich, Stylish, and had two HL pigtails that never frizzed up or became undone...she ALWAYS had a good hair-day! lol
