BlackBarbie's 2 year transitioning anniversary (PIC HEAVY...sorry)

Straight up gorgeous:yep::yep::yep: I've always admired your hair with its lushness and beautiful color. You're showing us that black hair, whether double processed or transitioning can be healthy.

Thanks for the update.

Now why you have to go and remind me of the color???
I've been wanting to get my highlights back but said I would just wait until my transition was completely over since I would still be cutting color out of it. My stylist (brother) suggested a permanent brown color but I prefer highlights. :sekret:.......you have me thinking about it again!

You've done a fantastic job with your transition, BB. Your hair is beautiful. Keep up the great work!

Blackbarbie,

Just gorgeous! You are my double process Shero. Whether relax or natural I know your hair will be inspiration to all of us.

Your hair is GORGEOUS (you've been my hair idol for quite some time). You can always continue to rollerset after you've become natural ;). I have to do the same things to get my natural hair straight as I did when I had relaxed hair, why bother relaxing?

You have got that rollersetting process down to a tee!!! I just checked out your thread and yes I am going to continue to practice to get a really smooth set. By looking at your results, one would never know whether you are relaxed or natural.

I am loving the transition because I am getting the results I desired - thicker hair! I just don't know when (if ever) I will get the guts to get rid of the remaining relaxed ends or if I will be a long term transtioner:ohwell:

BB

I have 12 inches of natural hair and 10 inches of relaxed hair.

Amazing progress & retention. Congrats!!

Beautiful hair and congratulations on the 2 year transition-that is a lot of hard work and patience!!!

BlackBarbie!!! Hey Girl!!! Your hair is absolutely gorgeous!!! :) You have done wonderful during your transition. I truly admire your fortitude and determination to stick it out as long as necessary prior to BC. You are one of my hair idols!!!

Your hair looks great!

I plan to do a very long transition too. Maybe 2 - 3 years more and I'm 7 months in now.

Now that's inspiration! Thanks for posting :)
