NYE side boob.
my hair has been various shades of auburn/copper for the past 4 years!!
i decided i needed a change.
so I dyed my hair blue black using one box of Revlon Colorsilk in blue/black, and another box in black. i had no specific reason for using this brand, other than they were on sale for $3.49, and i'm a serious bargain hunter.
the color seemed to be relatively gentle on my hair-it doesn't feel dry and stripped.
anyways, enough chatter. here are some pics, cause i know we all love da pitchas....:
BEFORE (my old color, auburn/copper/bronze whatever you wanna call it):
braid n curl on blowdried hair, and my little sister's balloons.
car shot of braid n curl, done on banded hair
AFTER-THE NEW BLUE/BLACK
2nd day, smushed (i don't sleep pretty, lol) braid n curl, originally done on banded hair
side shot
trying out a twist n curl on wet hair
result of the twist n curl-i was pleasantly surprised. i've heard of other 4a/bs having trouble with this style, but it came out decently enough
TODAY'S HAIR: 2nd day of the twist-n curl-i braided it in large sections and added a perm rod to the ends. then i slicked down the front to the side with some ecostyler gel, just for some flair.
last pic-the back of that style
ok, that's all for now. i'm pretty happy with the new color. i hope these pics aren't too monstrously big.
enjoy! oh, and what do you guys really think about the color?? my grandma says its a bit too dark for my complexion. do i look washed out??
oh, and i promise you that i do other styles beside braid n curls. i've just been kinda obssessed with it lately.
