Yes its too much. I have a similar situation(not holidays tho) with DH ex wife and she's never invited the kids are. She must come in and make a grand entrance. It bothers his family more than it does me. They talk about her when she leaves and I'm just because imagine what they say about me when I leave. They smile all up in her face and turn around like . I'm not fake I just in her face.
