I think once you become a partner or whatever that term is on Youtube, you are allowed to make longer videos.

I just looked it up online, and you have to have thousands of subscribers in order to "partner."

I wouldn't mind starting videos, but I dunno. My issue would be upkeep and finding the time to do it on a regular basis.

Ohhhhh....so that's why it seems like everyone is pressed for subscribers.

Okay..i was just watching Ateya put a ponytail in her hair (with extensions)..and she was looking for a rubber band to put on her soaking wet hair. I personally have never put a rubberband around wet hair. I was just wondering...is this okay?

No. It's not good to put rubberbands in your hair- wet or dry. Use ponytail holders that don't have that metal part on it.

Yeah, no one is attacking you. I can tell you didnt start the thread with bad intentions.......don't worry about it. I'm sure you didn't even know that her name starts a stampede over here.

I do it all the time . No real breakage since I just cut them out. I also use brown gel (ecostyle or ampro) to slick my buns back on occasion. Back when I was relaxed I grew my hair from a little past SL to in between APL/BSL in about a year's time slicking my hair back into a bun in different positions and spritzing it so that it would last a week or so. I also transitioned with the same style. I would NOT manipulate my hair at all after I applied the gel/spritz and would rinse my hair under the shower to remove it before ATTEMPTING to remove the bands or ponytail holder. Do I advise this now? Well it depends-even though it would be controversial by LHCF standards, my hair grew out very healthy and thick, but it wasn't the best method. I still washed & DC my hair every week and trimmed and I had no splits. I'm seriously considering going back to this method for a minute because it was sooooooo low maintenance, but still looked nice

This is precisely what confuses me. You already know Ateyaa will never follow the "LHCF Perfect Hair Care Principles Manual" - so why bother creating endless threads on every new *wrong* thing you see her doing. Don't like it, don't do it! It's almost like folks are surprised that she's doing something that not's hair p-c.

Grow your own hair and prove her wrong that way.
