I do. My first stretch was only 12 wks. I'm currently in my 2nd stretch and 19 wks post. I plan to continue until at least 6 mos post.

Yeah I texlax every 12 -16 weeks. Dont think I could go much longer than that though. Am always too keen to find out how much longer my hair will be afterwards.

I plan on texlaxing every 6 months. I'm hoping the longer your hair is the easier it is to stretch. I mean with short hair I feel like its going to be hard because you can't slick it back and bun it, and the braid out....at least for me looks horendous with my length hair.

yea i havent had a touchup since October. im going to see if i can last until spring

Im texturized (more on the curly side) and I relax twice a year

I stretch anywhere from 16-24 weeks, depending on my mood. My last texlax was November 13

Same here; 16-24 weeks. My last 2 texlaxes were april & november. My next one will be in april or may.

ummm, what's Texlaxing? :look:

A fancy name for Under-process. But some times with texlaxing you can still have curls(like me) instead of straight strands mixed with poofy hair. Or some other texlaxers have a slight wave.

I just got my first Texlax last December. It has never crossed my mind to wait any less than 12 weeks before a touch-up. In fact, I was thinking about waiting longer than that & thought that would be stretching. I didn't know that anything longer than 8 weeks was a stretch. I honestly would be too scared to relax after every inch of new growth. There's a bigger chance of overlapping & it also won't give my new growth enough time to get stronger & benefit from my hair regimen & the products that I use.

I haven't texlaxed since August 2010, so about 6 months. I'm texing tomorrow.

Congrats on a long stretch!! :) I'm sure your hair is healthy for it and has gained so much length. Will you post before & after stretch pictures?
