Any Mtg Updates? (how Bout A Challenge)

I used it on Sunday. It's kinda greasy, but it makes my hair very shiny and bouncy. My exboyfriend came over and said it smelled like Glover's Mane. He said his mother used the Glover's on his sister's hair to grow it back after their hair got burned off by a too hot, hot comb. He claims it really works and the smell is worth it. So, that was all the encouragement, I needed. I'm sucking up the smell, and sticking to it. Hopefully, I'll see good results within a month.

THat 's good to know!

How often is everyone using their MTG???

OK, I ordered Friday, when I went to my post office box today it was there. It doesnt smell as bad as I thought it would but I'm definitely going to mix something with it. I have my hair oil on the way from natural plaza it should be here before the end of the week. I bought one of the haircolor bottles with the real fine tip as the other bottles I had the nozzle was too big to me.

*holding nose and singing happily* ...a horse is a horse of course of course....

Since I missed UPS for the third time, I have to pick it up. . .

I've bene using the Glover's cream and the frenchee's, and I SWEAR that I see new hairs popping out around my hairline. The Glover's also has 5% sulfur in it.

Yall, I'm thinking about buying the MTG. Do I get the original or the "light oil." Is 3 times a week too much? And also, is it safe to leave on for a couple of days at a time before washing the hair?

Just wondering, I have cold feet!

Where can I buy this glover's mane that everyone is raving about? I've seen it online, but I really don't want to purchase on the web. Can I buy it at sally's  or can I find it at local BSS? Chicago, ladies who use it if you know what BSS sells it locally, holla back ;)

Your frequency of use is dependent largely upon your preference, how you wear your hair and your moisture/oil needs. It's a very oily product and a little goes a LONG way. The directions for use say not to wash out between uses so yes, it's safe for leaving in a few days at a time.

The Light Oil is NOT advertised as a growth stimulating product.

If you're concerned about it, get a small bottle or wait and hear more reviews before purchasing!

I found mine at the BSS; some have bought it from walgreen's.

It's an anti dandruff treatment, I believe. I use the cream, not the liquid, because it has more sulfur in it.

Im in. I just got some yesterday.

QUESTION: I have braids now...How should I use it?..I dont want to have my whole head stinking. I dont think It smells that bad but If I put it all over it might be too strong. How are you ladies using it?

I just added it to my edges last night....Is is all right to mix with Surge???

Well I tried to do this one, but the smell.................can't handle it. I used a couple of EO's to mask the smell but it didn't help. I'm glad I purchased the sample size, which is still a lot.
I'll sell it if anyone wants to buy it.
PM me.

Moonpower,

Sorry to hear that the smell isn't working for you. I found that if I mixed it with Surge in a 3:1 ratio, it worked just as well but the smell was largely diminished. I've also noted that when I apply too much...it smells more. It smells less on freshly washed hair :yep: for some reason. Aside from that, I mentioned to someone else that the Surge Braid Spray (it's a deodorizer for braids) might work. Maybe you could mix it with another oil, some WGO or Doo Gro, or some other oil that has a fragrance you like?

Either way, good luck.

I've been using this for the last 3 weeks, can't testify to hair growth but what I can says is before using I had a lot of dandruff and now I have a clear scalp, no itching or flaking I love it. Sweetpeadst, love the beacon comment, but to me it smells like burnt tire.

Question: How are you able to pour it from one container to the next, I'm asking because the active ingredients (the residue in at bottom) reside at the bottom of the container, how do you make sure you're getting the full strenght?

Shake it first.

Its not the most attractive smell! But I do agree that it isnt all that bad. I Really Over did it last night. I shook it up then put soem in little applicator bottle and applied to scalp...ugh it was a mess. I wiped it off all the extra drip  I am not going to put any more on this weekend though...maybe on Tuesday. Anyway my point is I masked the smell with NTM serum..My husband said he cant really smell it. Neither can I.

I have jacked up sinuses so a lot of things that people find smelly I'm like, "what smell?"

So I have to be careful no to be heavy handed! Just because I can't smell it doesn't mean someone else cant!

No I have had mine since I want to say 04/19/2005! I was just informing them that is how it smells!

 Alrighty! When I read it it made me think of that puppy commercial! I'm glad I'm home, it wouldn't do to be laughing out loud at my desk for no apparent reason.
