I had microneedling done yesterday. Next appointment will new next month for it.
@mzteaze
Is this Painful?:couchfire:

Where I am getting my Skin Care done, she suggested that I have this for my face to enhance Collagen production, but I want less needle action as I can get away with, so...so far, I have not booked a session :nono:

I've had folks say it hurts and others say "it's not bad" (I know this is Scalp vs Face:look:), but the MicroNeedling caught my eye.

I may look at something else like a Hydra Facial or Diamond Facial instead. I'm Chicken.

It really depends on the depth of the needles. For my scalp, they tend to use a shallow depth microneedler (roughly 0.025 to 0.500), so there is no pain. However, I had microneedling done by my dermatologist on my scar tissue. Even with numbing cream, that was uncomfortable BUT the end results were undeniable! So at least the end results made the pain worth it. I don't know that I'd trust anyone but my dermatologist to do it on my face though.

Also, don't waste your money on Hydrafacial unless you have money to burn OR you get a huge discount.

I am suppose to purchase the Red Light Therapy Cap from a friend tomorrow:look:

I'm trying to decide if I want to spend those coins on that tho?:scratchchin:

It's not worth the funds UNLESS you have the disposable funds to gamble. I like my LLLT cap and it's a tool that's useful to my plan.

As a follow up to my nightly scalp massage, I must say, it's turned out to be a very basic thing to do BUT I've had a noticeable reduction in the amount of hairs I'm seeing on wash day. For all of money spent on potions and stuff, who knew I'd get the most out of simply massaging for 5 minutes with a hand held scalp massager.

What kind of scalp massager do you use? I have a vibrating one, but I don't use it half as often as I should.

I need to start following this thread. There's some really great advice and it's reminding me of a lot of things that I've done inconsistently and need to start again.

I've been drinking bamboo leaf tea almost daily again. I'm not sure if it will boost growth, but when I drank it before, it made my strands thicker.

Me too! I really liked the brand I used to buy as well.

Ended up getting the i-Restore from my friend. You have to use it every other day.

I'll be doing it tonight for the 3rd time. You are suppose to use it 16 weeks at the beginning and for maintenance.

I may use it for 16 weeks off 16 and back on 16 to see what it does.

Well I've been using Wild Growth Oil. I had used it for a month or so and I think it helped me get to almost MBL but I trimmed an inch off.

Last night I mixed it with JBCO and put the mixture on my scalp. I'm going to use up the bottle before I post any results.

I'm also taking Nature's Bounty gummies with Collagen.

I'm noticing less and less hair shedding.

I know you posted this somewhere...maybe in the ayurveda thread? But can you tell me what's in your ayurvedic tea again? The last time I made one over a year ago it was way too strengthening.

Absolutely! No problem at all - I had to look back through my notes though to be sure. lol

Hibiscus Bhringraj and Brahmi. I brew it in a mason jar. I strain some into my spray bottle about 1/2 full and then fill the rest with water.

A combo that I find moisturizing, though, is Hibiscus and Amla. Maybe that one will work better for you since Brahmi can be a strengthener.

HTH :)
