I had to repurchase pumpkin seed oil from the first eBay vendor I dealt with. I believe the new one's product was not true pumpkin seed oil because of the lack of pumpkin scent (smelt like burnt olive oil) and the absence of that silicone feel. Maybe the bad stuff caused my allergic reaction. If you need the good vendor's eBay name, let me know.

I’ve used grease as a sealant off and on for some time now. Recently, I’ve been using Genuine African Formula Shea Butter Super-Lite (it has Shea Butter in it, but it’s a grease and not a butter) and my hair has been retaining moisture like crazy!!! I only use a little bit at night over my moisturizer (by the same brand) and in the morning my hair is super moisturized, shiny and while it’s a little oily to the touch it’s not super greasy feeling. I think I’ve found my staple grease for 2018.

The only con is the smell is a little earthy…not stinky though…by the morning I can’t smell it at all.

I think it works really well, but it's too expensive for what it is, since coconut oil and water do the same thing on mine and my daughter's hair.
