Hey Ladies. So I relaxed a few days ago after 20 weeks post, but I'm pretty sure that's the last time I do it myself. Seeking a new hair care professional now.

I mixed my Xcel21 with my oil mixture and I'm trying to consistently use it 3x weekly.

Working out is going well although I'm sore. I'm still doing walking intervals and I want to dance too so I'll be searching for some workout dance videos. (Any suggestions?)

Food, ah food! I've been doing OK, but I think I need to double down on my raw veggies. I just feel so much better after eating them, and it seems to negate cravings for less healthy foods. Work in progress!

Congratulations. That is so nice weight loss.

I was bad super bowl Sunday :nono: But I got back on my game on Monday. My lunch is packed for tomorrow. I was a little light on the water today though so I need to pick it up.

I've been consistent with my vitamins and I started taking a liquid collagen with biotin and silica in the blend. It's been a week and I haven't broken out due to the biotin so I am going to keep on pushing. I have a 60 day supply. I will decide if I will repurchase then. If I already said this before please forgive me. I'm too lazy to go look at my last post to see what I was rambling about.

I finally got back to my exercise. I rode my bike on my trainer for 30 minutes yesterday and 50 minutes today. I got my 10,000 steps in yesterday as well. I'm going to try to ride again on tomorrow. I want to be able to ride an hour 3 times a week and then move into some bike specific training.

Not much going on with my hair. I have a lot of breakage right now so I know it's time for a trim. I plan to do that with a rollerset on the 18th. I do think it is growing though and I am retaining some. I'm hoping the mix of eating right, water, collage and exercise can give me some additional growth.

@Aggie I read the guidelines of the egg challenge. Seems very interesting. i have resolved to eating boiled eggs and green tea for breakfast and dinner every day. Last night i ate bread and drank juice along with my eggs and saw my weight increase a bit. So i know bread is a culprit and well sugar. Not sure if i can go all the way with the diet but it is simple though. The way how this Caribbean diet is created around carbs and meat.. rice, bread, dunplings, pasta. It's a bit hard for not eat them. :(

Hair wise i stretched my hair and put medium twists in them. Going to incorporate stretching into my regimen. I saw someone mentioned that she noticed that the 4c hair girls with long hair all stretch their hair and keep it stretched. So i am going to try that.

Exercise is going good. Next week will be the last week of self defense but i have my gym to continue. Seeing body changes and feeling clothes changes already.

Ok so I can't seem to break the 153 mark. I reach there then i'm seeing the scale back up to 154 the next day. I'm still aiming for my 2.5 litres although im not reaching it every day. Time to change or add something to the diet. I realised i did sleep 5 hours last night.

Hair is still stretched and in twists. Going to cowash in the twists, stretch them and retwist.

@BellaRose

When was the last time you detoxed your liver? Sometimes our liver needs some help since it's one of the fat burning organ in the body and helps to speed up metabolism when it's clean and highly functional. The thing is you might need to detox your whole body for maybe 7 days as well though.

I personally like the JJ Smith 10 Day Smoothie Cleanse and her recommendations for cleansing the colon, liver and body. Give it a try and see what happens. Either way, it wouldn't hurt, only help your weight-loss efforts.

I rollerset my hair last night in green flexible rods and sat under the dryer for 2 hours. When it was time for bed, the flexis were bothering me so I decided to take them out and pincurl them. They still wet 3/4 of the way down the length! :thud:

So now I'm gonna search the forum for some ventilated rollers. Someone posted some with some smooth nubs in them. Hopefully I can find them.

Yesterday, i washed with African Black Soap, did 1 hour conditioning with Organic Root Stimulator Replenish conditioner no heat, used Mixed chicks leave-in conditioner, Motions CPR Anti Breakage Lotion and sealed with my olive-castor oil mix. Stretched twists with flexi rods. Feeling very moisturized now. Think i will trim my hair before putting braids in for my March month protective style.

So i deep conditioned and cowashed 2 days in row last week. Then i installed jumbo box braids Saturday. So im protective styling for the upcoming month.
Exercise wise- I did some abs and cardio on Friday and I can see a difference in the tummy area the next day. So im thinking i really need to do more ab exercises which i try to avoid. Um..yeah...And that is my "bad" part of my body. Legs responding so well to the weights but the upper body needs some more work.
I did the green smoothie for a couple of days and i was able to get below 153. So now i'm bouncing between 152-153. Hmm.. I think i should incorporate the smoothies more often into my diet as that can be a way of getting my fiber.

Just in from work and already moisturized my hair with some Bekura Tonga Mousse - I really like that stuff. It reminds me of some type type of liquid creamy oil, ie, moisturizer and oil all in one, thereby eliminating one step in my nightly moisturizing regimen :yep:.

I'm hoping to do better in March than I did in February. I haven't gained any weight but haven't lost any either. My eating is still good but I need to up my exercise. I got my 10K steps in several times this week. I rode my bike for an hour yesterday and did a round of calisthenics. Plan to hop on my indoor trainer again tomorrow.

I walked to work yesterday, a 45 minute walk. Felt good. I actually reached early too. For the whole year so far I've been reaching late. It's that time and i went back up to 155.6. Sad. I'm not reaching my target water level. plus I started eating snacks again. HOw terrible. Only 4 days into March. Have to do better. So i'm mimicking @faithVA today.

-Pre-pooing with my Marshmallow Root and Slippery Elm Combo mixed with Paul Mitchell The Detangler and AVJ

-Shampooing with Bask & Bloom Gentle Herbal Cleanser - I really like this cleanser a lot because it gives a tiny bit of suds and cleanses just like it's name says - gently. Plus it smells nice too for a herbal cleanser.

-Deep Conditioning with Bekura Vanilla Whiskey followed by APB UCS.

-Leave-in Bekura Tonga Mousse and/or NG Sweet Plantain Leave-in

-Plaiting my hair up in 4 big celies and wigging it for the week

Welcome can do this. :yep:

Did you walk home as well. That's a good walk. Wish I could walk to work.

@faithVA I was planning to do that but my brother called me for pain meds. Plus i was cramping a lot so i travelled instead. However from tomorrow i plan to walk to and from home 3 days a week.

I've done pretty well with my exercise and activity this week. I've been mostly walking and getting my 10K steps in. I rode my bike Tuesday. My SO brought his bike trainer over tonight and I did a 50 minute course. It was tough but it was fun. Now I want another trainer  I'm going to have to earn that though because they are expensive.

I'm excited about getting the cycling season started.

I took my braids out yesterday. Did 3 weeks with them. Took them out as my ends were starting to stick out. Washed with Motions CPR Shampoo, used Aphogee 2 min reconstructor and conditioned with Suave Ocean Breeze Conditioner.
I stopped eating flour for the month to see what will happen to my body.
