I think if it "financially feasibly possible" You should get/try a variety of the AO Conditioners.
I agree 100%. I love their conditioners and they are the only brand I use. I love HSR and WC equally but use them for different things.

- HSR mixed with molasses for a light pre-poo protein treatment. Occasionally use after shampooing
- WC for deep conditioning after shampooing, this just makes the tangles melt away

Have you tried www.vitaglo.com? They have the cheapest prices that I have seen.

I hate WC. I tried it every which way, but it always says NO to me. My first love is Island Naturals and then comes Honeysuckle Rose.

Ooooo great post! I am seriously wondering about AO conditioners

questions are these conditioners cone free?

And are the all moisture conditioners? I need a good moisture condish with no protien

^^ Yes the AO conditioners are all cone free, and the WC and HSR are both solely moisture, GBP is a light protein with moisturising properties too.

As for me, my first love was HSR, then I tried WC and loved it too, but its a little watery. I believe that my hair, like Neith's, prefers shea-rich products. I use this line almost exclusively, so I'm sure all their condishes will stay in my stash rotation, with HSR having pride of place.

Island Naturals did not work for me at all. I hate the smell of it too. Different strokes for different folks :)

I am not overkeen on the smell of WC but the fact that it works amazingly for me I overlook it

I love the following and they are all staples: GBP, HSR, WC & BGA Hair Rescue Mask and pray they never change the formulas.

IA: Personally, I don't think any of them actually smell amazingly good:look:

But For Me, They Perform Wonderfully for a 'moderately priced' conditioner.

I absolutely love White Camellia. This conditioner along with my Qhemet BRBC changed my hair from a dry, hot mess to moisturized, touchable tresses. I HATE the smell of HSR. I also hate how thick it is because it made it hard to spread evenly on my hair. In addition, I didn't really notice a difference in my hair. Using that conditioner, I still suffered from dryness.

I was just going to repurchase HSR and was considering the WC. Now I have to hurry up before yall buy it all.

WC works best for me. :yep: I love it so very much. Unfortunately, products with a shea-butter base do not work well for my hair. I don't understand why but it is what it is. :ohwell:

I agree with Bachelorette about GPB. Sometimes I even blend the two together and it's marvelous. :yep:

I preferred white camelia. Its smelled like flowers to me. I think honey suckle rose might have been thicker but b/c camelia was not as thick it was easier for me to apply. My hair looked shinier after.

I'm a relaxed head, and I prefer the AOWC over the HSR. The HSR used to be my favorite before I tried the WC, but the WC makes my hair feel smoother and it seems to penetrate my hair better without leaving a greasy residue.

That's the problem I ran into. Initially, my hair loved the HSR, but over time it builds up on my hair and actually started preventing moisture from getting in. I believe it's because of the shea butter. My hair doesn't like very heavy, oily things. It prefers light, penetrable oils.

IDareT, do you have specific conditioners you use when you steam or anything goes? :)

OT: Actually I Do. Although, I must admit AO Products are Great to Steam with Due to their Consistency/Weight.

I usually use something, extremely thick: Either Something specifically labeled as a Deep Conditioner; i.e. a Hair Mask/Masque, Hair Paste, Deep Conditioning Treatment, Cholestrol Treatments, Deep Penetrating Treatment, Instensive Deep/Penetrating Treatment/ Repairative Treatment. (Those are always usually 'heavy'):yep:

Imagine if you will: Your Iron standing in an upright poisition (on Steam). Constant Steam/Condensation is being emitted as a steady poof of steam. All that product just absorbs into your hair. It definitely makes detangling a breeze.

So, you really probably couldn't really steam with a V05, Giovanni SAS, or some other lighter weight Conditioners (without 'dripping' everywhere).

However, I have used AE Garlic and SheScentIt Banana Brulee and both did very well (as they can be used for Deep Conditioners).

I am curious to see how Hairveda Sitrinillah would steam.:lick:

I have it, but haven't Steamed with it.

Thanks For Asking, Terri

I ...Can't....Choose. Love them both. But I also want to give a shout out to Jojoba and Aloe conditioner. Its a protein/moisture conditioner. Love it. I use it when everything is prefect and I don't wanna mess anything up. It has a weird smell but rinses to a sweet smell (like honey??) Anyone else try this and like it?

i'm relaxed and i love hsr. i've tried both. hsr is my go to when i need moisture. it performs consistently. i wasn't impressed with white camelia although i wanted to be..

I really wish my hair liked HSR better. The stuff smells so heavenly. I'm going to be utilizing it this winter because it seems the only time my hair can tolerate heavier things is when it's really cold. I still have half a bottle that needs to get used up, and I'm definitely not tossing it :nono:.

I'm a relaxed head and I tried HSR first. It gave plenty of moisture and was great.

But then I tried WC and I like much better because it smooths down my cuticle and makes my hair sleeker.

Oh, and the GPB is the bomb as a moisture/protein balance.

I have both bottles. The HSR is just chillin and collecting dust and WC is getting used all up.

Hello. I finally tried both conditioners. They both are awesome conditioners (great slip for me too) and it was very hard to choose the best one. Honeysuckle Rose wins for me... the smell made it the better conditioner. :weird:

I really like the Aubrey Organics conditioners..they seem to be the only conditoners that actually penetrate my hair so much that they completely disappear after I let them sit in my hair for a while .. I can feel it on my hair but can't see the conditioner :spinning:

Has anyone used the AO Swimmers Conditioner?
Coconut Fatty Acid Cream Base, Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Jojoba Oil, Horsetail Extract, Coltsfoot Extract, Amino Acid Complex (Cysteine, Methionine), Panthenol (Vitamin B-5), Aminobenzoic Acid, Bitter Almond Oil, Aubrey's Preservative (Citrus Seed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E).

I've read on a blog recently that it's just as great as the HSR & WC and has a wonderful cherry almond fragrance! I can't say I am a fan of the scent of the AO conditioners that I have tried thus far (HSR, WC & GPB) so I would love to try the Swimmers version if it's worth it....i noticed that is does not contain wheat germ oil or shea butter so I dunno....anybody??

Has anyone used the AO Swimmers Conditioner?

I have it (and the shampoo) but have yet to try it. I ordered a sample size after finding out that the hard water on campus was the cause of my endless roughness/dryness.

When I give it a test run (I think I'll use the shampoo and conditioner samples back to back) I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to reading your review! BTW where did you order the samples????
(The PJ in me just started twitching )

WHITE CAMELIA all day for me! Love that product. If you're looking for moisture, look no further.

vitaglo.com.

That store has like every AO product at the cheapest prices I've seen. I couldn't afford to keep up my AO habit before seeing that site (8-10 dollars a bottle for a college student is steeeeeep).

6.34 for alot of the conditioners seems alot better, and on my last order, I coupled with a friend and bought some oils, rose water, aloe vera, etc from there, and used the free shipping over 50 dollars offer.

Anyway, I saw the samples for I think a bit over a dollar there so decided "why not, I have hard water issues anyway." They come in 2oz bottles.

Thanks! You know I've been ordering my AO conditioners from vitaglo.com all this time and never noticed the 2oz travel size bottles...unfortunately they don't carry the travel size for ALL of them...

I agree, vitaglo.com has the BEST prices for Aubrey Organics products I've ever come across .. vitacost.com has great prices for other brands so I order form both sites since the prices in the stores are ridiculously high!
