Hi. I am back. I tried using WC again. I still don't like the smell but I keep playing in my hair. My hair feels smooth and soft. What happens when I mix GPB, Honeysuckle Rose, and White Camellia together? Will I go to hair nirvana?

I have it (and the shampoo) but have yet to try it. I ordered a sample size after finding out that the hard water on campus was the cause of my endless roughness/dryness.

When I give it a test run (I think I'll use the shampoo and conditioner samples back to back) I'll let you know how it goes.

So I'm back to report on the swimmers shampoo and conditioner.

I tried the shampoo again, not really much lather, though I know that's not how you tell if it's really cleaning. But, I used the shampoo, and some white residue was still on my scalp despite a ton of scrubbing. I don't know what to think since I had to ration what was left of the shampoo (was almost out.) So it might be I didn't have enough shampoo or it wasn't getting what was left on my scalp or that it was what the white stuff was (though it's kinda a translucent tinged clearish color.)

I applied and deep conditioned with the swimmer's conditioner after. It's a pearly white and thickish. I deep conditioned for an hour. All the conditioner was soaked up by my hair (none of it was visible after I was done). It wasn't super slippy (but I dont detangle under a shower steam since my strands are kinda fine and have trouble standing it so I think I have less slip then most people anyway). But my hair felt pretty good and my next day hair feels very soft. ( but I tested a new leave in, new styling product (shealoe!) and the new conditioner so maybe they're all good? ) I'm a bad tester.

I rinsed with bottled water so I think that helped as well. My hair feels nice and light and it's very bouncy (I did a twist-n-curl a la curly nikki). I'm bad at making conclusive calls on products but my hair feels nice so =].

I'd buy a bigger size of the shampoo and be more generous to really see if it can clean well, but I'm moving out of my dorm next week so I won't have to worry about hard water for a while. (Yay!:yep:) But it wasn't that harsh a shampoo so maybe I'll try it as a regular shampoo too.

K, I'm done :drunk:

I just have to mention that I am in love with White Camellia. HSR did nothing special to my relaxed hair. I still have a bottle of HSR that I will probably put on the exchange section of the board. Before getting braids I used White Camellia as my deep conditioner and I was pleased with the results.

My hair was a hot, tangled, puffy mess after I took my braids out recently. I applied the conditioner to my hair for a deep condition and it just gave it so much moisture, especially to my dry new growth.

First product I tried was HSR and I was shocked and very pleased.
Then came White Camellia: bye bye HSR.

Reason: white camellia is easier to use on my hair, HSR builds up if I haven't freshly well shampooed hair. white camellia keeps my hair smooth and penetrates more quickly than HSR. It's slightly lighter in consistency, yet very moisturizing.

I use white camellia or gpb weekly with olive oil to DC.
