Which do you prefer and why? How do they smell? I got my cart all ready to go at vitacost, but I'm not sure which I should try first.

I'm relaxed 4a and looking for something with moisture moisture moisture to try after protein treatments. :yep:

Ladies, let me know! Thanks :drunk:

The way WC sinks into my hair is crazy. HSR was ok, but I like WC waaaaay better. I'm natural though. I used it after a protein treatment before and I think that is what also sold it for me.

I love me some white camelia, it's a thick rich deep consitioner, and my favorite product to use as a leave in moisturizer as well.

I'm relaxed.
I've tried HSR only, and I think it's just ok -- won't repurchase -- not the most moisturizing thing I've tried. A lot of people like the smell -- I don't like it while washing, though the scent is a little better to tolerate the next day.
I was thinking of trying WC.

I LOVE HSR, it's all about moistire and will cure any abuse!

I also love WC, I use it when I intend to flatiron, it leaves a slight coating which calms frizzes and I never use any leave-in other than heat protectant!

I'm natural, and prefer White Camellia to HSR. I also find the protein treatment GPB sort of moisturizing too.

You mean to tell me all this time people have been raving about HSR and now I find out WC might be better!? :ohwell:
I've been through 2 bottles of HSR and am not impressed, so I'll try out the WC now.

AO have a shampoo and conditioner tailored for relaxed hair it's the Island Naturals I think it's available in a pack as B.O.G.O.F, check out their website and there maybe reviews on it in the archives somewhere.

I know what you mean HSR has done absolutely nothing for me. I have whole brand new bottle left. I'll have to invest in the WC really soon. I'll have to revisit the HSR once I'm fully natural and not transitioning.

They are nearly identical when it comes to the ingredients.

HSR - Shea butter/Wheat Germ oil based (also contains jojoba oil and rose hip seed oil)

WC - White camellia oil/Wheat Germ oil based

My hair likes shea butter based conditioners the most. :)

WOW! I was thinking it was gonna be HSR just because it seems people post about it everywhere. I'm pleasantly surprised :yep:

OK, WC it is......

I'm relaxed, and love the WC. It makes my hair feel like butta! I also like the HSR, but it's way too thick for me to work with on a regular basis.

^^I know! Although I'm relaxed, and I have HSR, and I like it...Now they are making me want to try WC. I'm always looking for more moisture :look:.

Now I know why I have a hard time finding White Camelia in Whole Foods and Vitamin Shoppe.

I like them both equally.

I'm so glad I read this post before buying either, although...I may still get both just so I can see for myself. My hair reacts differently to products than most. We'll see.

when i was relaxed i loved hsr. i have a bottle but havent used it since i went natural. may try it this weekend. i love WC. it wasnt the best since i think gpb beats them all.

glad i read this. i ran out of HSR this past weekend, and am due for an AO repurchase. i'll try the white camelia :yep:

Ahhh I couldn't vote this is a tough one...I love them both, but WC works better on dry hair & HSR works best on wet/damp hair IMO

I personally think GPB is the best. It has some protein but its VERY moisturizing, IMO. Dont even follow it up with a moisture DC

I like the HSR better but the WC is very very close to it for my hair. I like to mix them a lot too and I find that they work even better for added slip and moisture on my hair this way. I always purchase them both.

ETA: Oh BTW, I like the GPB conditioner also. It is a protein conditioner that still has a lot of moisturizing power in it.

I think if it "financially feasibly possible" You should get/try a variety of the AO Conditioners.:look:

I "like" HSR, but I LOVE WC & GBP.

Yet, I have an affinity for Island Naturals and the Jojoba & Aloe. So, For me, it's a total crap shoot.

I also have the Rosa Mosqueta (which I haven't tried yet & the Blue Cammomile Hydrating one).

IK that WC & GPB will always been in my stash.:look:

And I will always probably toy around with some of the other ones as well off & on.:ohwell:

*ik....it's the pj in me*
