Yes! These last 2+ yrs have been the most satisfying hair years in all of my 34 yrs. I feel empowered & satisfied.

Yep :yep:

My hair is growing quickly... since the BC 3 months ago I have grown and retained 1 1/2 - 2 inches all around, and this is after a mini setback and trim.

I hope it continues going so well :)

I was supposed to be APL by December :cry3: but on the bright side my edges look better and I have less breakage. :yay:

I'll see what happens after my next relaxer in December. :yep: If it looks worse then I'm just going to chop off my entire head and be done with it. :paperbag:

I'm content. Are you happy BBS? You have gone from natural shorter hair to natural waist length and then you relaxed it and cut it off.

Yes...
Transitioning to my natural hair's going well and I'm looking forward to being all natural (in at least 8 months :yep:)

Yes, however I am getting impatient. I want to APL now. As long as my hair is growing and I'm retaining length, I'll be happy.

I don't look out for progress so I really don't know. I just have this thing of just enjoying my hair and letting the progress surprise me whenever so I can't really speak of it as I have no clue what it's like. (I'm in braids.) I can tell you this though, I don't think there are many people in love with their hair as much as I am. I truly love and enjoy my naps. :yep:

Yes, I'm happy. I started out with short hair. My first year I decided to transition to natural but quickly changed my mind and decided on tex-laxing. I spent most of 2008 and the better part of this year cutting off my bone straight ends. Because of all the cutting I have not seen a lot of growth BUT I have a brand new head of hair. This hair looks and feels so much better. Its thicker, stronger, fuller, shinier... Just healthier overall.

Now that I'm done cutting so much, I can embark on the retention aspect of my journey. My hair has never been longer than SL so I'm excited to see what happens in this next year.

Yes I am very happy with my hair! it has been longer but it has never been this full or this healthy... And I amazed at my hairs retention!! I always thought my hair grew slower than average but now I have learned that I simply didnt know how to take care of my hair

All I wanna do is play in my hair all the time :)

I guess... I'm happy I've finally learned how to retain length, I'll see how I feel this time next year.

Not really. :nono: I'm 10 weeks post and detangling is horrendous for me :hammer::swordfigh:fishslap::spank::crybaby: . My ends seem porous but I'll see if using Roux Porosity Control as a weekly final rinse can change that.

yep, so far i am. even with my SSN setback in August! After reading that Creamy-Crack Blog thread i am just glad i have hair at all. It could be worse!

Nope.

This transitioning is kicking my butt right now!!!
And I got about 8-9 moths left.

I have a phytorelaxer deep in my closet that whispers to me once a month when I take my braids down...

I'd be more happy if it grew 1/2 inch a month, cuz it only grows 1/4, but atleast it's growing at a rate that isn't too out of the norm, so I can't complain.

its okay i guess i started on this journey may 09 i am actually concern with progress this time next year god spear
