I'm conflicted. Since going natural I can't see the growth because my hair coils. So I look like I'm in the same place I started. This is a test of my patience.
I've spent the majority of my life with overprocessed, scraggly strands that struggled to make it past my collarbone and living with family members who had the "good" hair. I just thought that my hair couldn't be any better than it was. Now, it is thick, healthy and closing in on WL; I just thank God for my progress. Yes, I an extremely happy!
NOOOOOOOOO, I just took out my senegalese twist... and measured my hair from root to tip it is only 8 inches long, I have been natural for 2 year.........
Its like nature is really working against me, cnapp, very fine strands, low density ( I have very few strands of hair)
absolutely. I attribute this to me going natural. My hair has never been thicker, longer and healthier, and I'll be even happier when I reach my hair length goal!
While I am greatful to have hair on my head- I am still somewhat disgusted. I guess my struggle is a little different because I have hair loss/alopecia. Who knows? Maybe I set my expectations too high? I am not happy at all.
