Ok, I tried the Silk Result for Thick/Coarse hair last night and the jury is still out on that. I will try it again next week.

BUT ....

I purchased the Body Luxe today and :love4: I am in LOVE!

I washed once, applied the conditioner for 1 minute, applied the Split End Mender (NICE!!), sprayed my hair with the Nioxin Bliss heat protectant (The BEST) and blow dried my hair. I then flat ironed it bone straight.

My hair feels "heavy". Here is a pic (sorry for the bad quality. I will take another when my DH gets back from his trip):

where are you all buying the kpak online? I am getting a wash and set tomorrow and if my hair likes this stuff I need to order it. I asked for the cuticle sealer at Trade secret and they had never heard of it.

Yes, we do! Loves me some Joico! I will be applying my henna this weekend (it has been a loooong time since I have done this) and I will try the Silk Result line at that time.

If I still don't like the Silk Result, I will give it away.

Yes, the Body Luxe was fantastic! I definitely like it better than the Moisture Recovery. I will be ordering the Liter sizes of the Luxe next week. It seems like the Mizani Nighttime and the Joico just mix nicely.:yep:

I did get the Daily Moisturizing Conditioner and will try it out tomorrow.

I have 4b relaxed hair. I used the moisture recovery balm after using the kpak and I got the perfect balance (strong hair w/ great slip).

Same here, I tried the Body Luxe recently and basically fell in love with it... I already have thick hair, but since I've been using it it is Diva hair all the way :lachen:MR and Kpak are very excellent lines but my new Body Luxe is :lick:

I think I'll just be getting all of them but may ordert hem small so I can see which ones my hair likes the most and then order the large sizes later. I won't be ordering now of course, maybe in a month or two.

they lady in trade secrets said if you are using the whole kpak line, you really dont need the cuticle sealer cause everything is already ph balanced. I think I still want to try it but they didnt have it
 
I will definitely be Looking into the Body Luxe Line when I do my Fall Shopping in September/October/November.

I plan to not purchase anything in the next Coupla' Month.:jail:

I am one crying about the price, but this is exactly how I used the K-pak reconstruct and the Moisture Recovery, and bang, Hair like butter! My hair loves it, not sure how my pockets can stand it!
 
I used the Kpak line on friday. chelating poo, con, leave in, serum.... I love the poo and serum, don't love the leave in it is going back, I love serum! My hair feels a little dry but I believe I need to follow up with a moisturizing con after the regular con.

I may try the body luxe lone.
 
Could anyone tell me which stores carry the Joico line, I mean a store that I can walk in and purchase them? A store like Walmart, Target, etc..? I'm thinking about purchasing them when I'm in the US again. TIA.

I know that CVS carries Joico.

I would also check at some of the Hair Salons while you are Here. Or like a Trade Secret, Ulta's, Kenneth's Hair Salon or a "Shop" that sales Salon Hair Products etc...

Because: On the back of the Bottle(s) it says: Guaranteed When Purchased From A Professional Stylist Only.

I know I've seen it at Kroger's etc....but don't know if it is the same formula (or if it even makes a difference).

Thanks a million Terri. I forgot all about Kroger's and i am looking to beat the prices on www.sleekhair.com. So if there are considerably higher, I'll stick with ordering them online instead.
