I LOVE the Cuticle Sealer. I use it at least twice a month (sometimes every week) as part of the 17 minute miracle routine.

I also use it right after relaxing my hair. I see a HUGE difference in my hair due to this. My hair is much THICKER. Now, if it can only get longer :ohwell:.

I recently bought the intense hydrator to try. I notice you ladies are relaxed. Does it mean the Joico line is better for relaxed heads?
I am natural BTW but a friend of a friend uses the line with great success and she is natural too.

ladies who are relaxed and natural can and do use Joico haircare products. The K-Pak line seem to be highly favored among the relaxed ladies from what I've seen so far but naturals can use them as well. Joico haircare products is a great line because they are pH balanced to suit both natural and chemically altered hair.

If your hair is natural but you use heat to style your hair or some type of coloring, whether temporary or permanent, you can still benefit from this line.

Charmtreese and MilkChocolateOne...ya'll were NOT PLAYIN' about the Color Therapy Serum!! My hair feels so good right now, I'm shocked!! I like it 10x more than CHI SI...it definitely cut down on drying/styling time and my hair doesnt feel heavy or weighed down...I dont wanna jinx it, but I'm LOVIN' this...

Your hair looks really thick, I hope my hair thickens up a bit.

Do you use it after you shampoo but before conditioner or after you shampoo and condition?

ain't it the BEST!!!!! I can't get enough of this stuff. Have you used it on dry hair yet?

I just finished flat ironing, and I used a little bit on my hair before wrapping...I'm excited to see how it'll look in the morning cause it felt so wonderful tonight!

You are so right:yep:- The restorative oil is wonderful. Way better than Chi silk infusion.

I have a question for you guys. I received a sample of the Joico K-Pak Color Therapy Restoring Oil and you ladies who use it seem to love it. But, what do you use it for? Is it a sealant used instead of any other oil (EVCO for example) after using a leave-in? Do you use it on wet and dry hair? Thanks.

Ugh. Off to the BSS to get me some of this ...

I know that you did not ask for all of this but ...

Here is my 17 minute miracle routine:

  1. Chelating Shampoo
  2. Cuticle Sealer
  3. K-Pak Reconstructor
  4. Intense Hydrator
  5. Split End Mender (only on the very tips of my hair)
  6. Mizani H20 Nighttime

Relaxer routine:

  1. Relax hair in two sections.
  2. Rinse relaxer
  3. Apply Joico Reconstructor
  4. Rinse
  5. Neutralizing Shampoo
  6. ACV
  7. Neutralizing Shampoo
  8. ACV
  9. Neutralizing Shampoo (Leave in until I finish relaxing the other section of my hair)
  10. Repeat 2-9 for second half of my head
  11. Chelating Shampoo for entire head
  12. Cuticle Sealer
  13. K-Pak reconstructor
  14. Intense Hydrator (leave in overnight)
  15. Rinse in the morning.
So far this routine has been working for my hair.

HTH.

(Oh, I apply vaseline, neutralizing shampoo and the cuticle sealer to my previously relaxed hair before beginning the relaxing process)

I use it as I would use a serum. I will use it on wet hair with my leave in, before I airdry. I also use it when I just want to add some shine to my hair.

Taz Thanks for your 17 minute miracle routine. I was wondering what it was.

My small stash consist of:

K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor
K-Pak Reconstruct Conditioner
K-Pak Cuticle Sealer
Moisture Recovery Conditioner
Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm

I am a 4a natural and my hair has never felt better. I can't keep my hands out of my hair. For newbies it's important to clarify or use the K-Pak Chelating Shampoo for best results on your hair.

I used it on my damp hair, airdried about 80%, blow dried, flat ironed and added a teeny bit when my hair was done for some added shine and silkiness...my hair feels great today:grin:

How do you like it? I used perm stabilizer on my sisters hair because I did not have cuticle sealer and it worked pretty well...the ph on both products are the same 2.5...but I'll probably end up buying cuticle sealer soon!!

I washed it out a few mins and am sitting with the reconstructor in my hair (trying to do that 17 minute miracle kit); my hair felt pretty silky/soft when I was washing it out, but I'm looking forward to the results when I'm done with my hair. I'll let you know how it turns out :)

Alright I'm a converted Joico junkie...I've owned a liter of the K-pak shampoo and conditioner, tubes of the reconstructor, the chelating shampoo and the intense hydrator for almost a year, I tried it once or twice and wasn't wowed, so i moved on to other things in my stash...well this has been so raved about, so I decided to give it another whirl, and for the past 3 washes I've only used Joico and OMG!! I am in love. My siggy pic was taken after I used it, my hair has never had so much body and strength. I'm completely blown away! I want to give away everything else in my stash, thats how much I love it. They really work better when you use all the products in the line, that may have been why I didnt like it initially

:look: okay so after reading thru a few other threads, I found out that Ulta was having a buy 2 get 2 sale...I rushed out and picked up the color therapy restoring oil, the leave in keratin spray and the smooth results shampoo and conditioner:grin: I cant wait to wash next week to try them!

I am loving Joico and want to buy more of the K-Pak line. Is anyone still using the K-Pak cuticle sealer?
