Very beautiful..thick and long!!! Congratulations!!!

:yep: I Finally Did It Gurls!!! YIPPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I have to put "BC" in quotes because the longest amount of hair I chopped was maybe 5 inches. But it was still significant.

Okay, so my last texlax was August 07. On June 5, 2009 I "BC"d.
Here's my journey/progress report from last month: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=361685&highlight=progress+report

I'm so happy to be natural, even though I still have more to snip away.

I posted the full story and all the pix on my blog (http://longnaturalhair.blogspot.com), but here are a few!

All in all, the cut is laughable and I'll definitely get it shaped up by mike soon. It seems to be drying into a pyramid, not a good look. BUT, I love it nonetheless:yep: I'm so happy and somehow...relieved to have chopped those scraggly ends off.

It's a whole new ball game now!! I's Natchal Now!!

I'll post some more pics of how it looks fully dried as well as how it looks after I trim some more of the rogue texlaxed bits off.

Whatcha think?

*********************UPDATE***************************

So here are some of the dry photos.
You can see the need to keep snipping.
It's VERY uneven. (i still love it)

my SO is kind enough to point out the mangled ends.....in case we couldn't see them on our own.

Congrats on finally taking the plunge.

A side or zigzag part can help offset the pyramid effect until you get a chance to have it shaped.

Congrats Whimsy! I lol'd @ the last pic

LMAO Me too. He has some nerve...tryin to be "helpful" hehe:grin:

THANKS for that tip!! I'll definitely do that! No triangle head for me!!!

Whimsy, your hair is pretty long curly. How long is it now without shrinkage? (well when you pull it)

Thanks! In the back it's APL sides are SL front is NL.
As soon as I straighten for the first time, I'll definitely post a thread.
