Whimsy's "Big Chop" (PICS of course!)

I Finally Did It Gurls!!! YIPPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I have to put "BC" in quotes because the longest amount of hair I chopped was maybe 5 inches. But it was still significant.

Okay, so my last texlax was August 07. On June 5, 2009 I "BC"d.

I'm so happy to be natural, even though I still have more to snip away.

This Morning (WET, Washed with V05, Scrunched with Cantu and Mousse):

(you can see that theres more to snip throughout)

DRYing, but not 100% there yet:
(disregard the face please haha)

And the back....I was LMAO when I saw those lil danglers at the bottom....

All in all, the cut is laughable and I'll definitely get it shaped up by mike soon. It seems to be drying into a pyramid, not a good look. BUT, I love it nonetheless I'm so happy and somehow...relieved to have chopped those scraggly ends off.

It's a whole new ball game now!! I's Natchal Now!!

I'll post some more pics of how it looks fully dried as well as how it looks after I trim some more of the rogue texlaxed bits off.

Girl you are making me want to go grab the scissors and do the doggone thang!!!!

I did a wash and go this morning and as I was putting product in it, I was really tired of having to "scrunch" the relaxed ends to make them do their thing! I kept looking in the mirror and almost picked up the phone to let my brother know that I was coming up to get the relaxed ends cut off! (I'm too chicken to do it myself) (this summer was my target date to get it done anyway). I am looking at your hair and I really have the urge to do it now more than ever.

Your hair is still beautiful and I know you feel free!!!!! Don't forget to post pics when it's completely dry; can't wait to see them.
