:perplexedI'm at work and as an intern I don't have my own personal computer so my supervisor put me on someone elses computer who worked night shift. The guys computer I was sitting at came in like 5 mins ago and was like you want a career advice.

Loud as hell

"DONT GO ONTO THE LONG HAIR CARE FORUM ON MY COMPUTER. EVERYONE KNOWS I HAVE SHORT HAIR"

ETA: the females n the office are probably like why is she on a long hair care site: she don't have long hair....omg
 
What your hair has a nice length. He's an A--. Just be mindful. I too probalby on this forum too much. At least its interesting and a learning tool. Smile

Some people have no tact. This is why the only computer I use to check LHCF is my own. I never slip up.
 
What twat? There was no need for that...You have just told this idiot that you are growing your hair in the same tone as his...but I can understand you being an intern and all not wanting to pull this person's under pants over thier head for a merger wedgy! Nevermind....ago about with your LHCF fix!
 
Omg!! I would've melted into the floor. He's a jacka--. Oh well, more motivation to grow your hair long and healthy. That was uncalled for. He know he wrong.
 
Either by email or in person you need to remind him that your supervisor placed you there, until you get a computer to use. Also, that computer is COMPANY property, not personal. You can look at what ever you damn well please. And if during your lunch break you decide to sit there and look on LHCF, that is YOUR business and YOUR choice and he can NOT do anything about it.

You need to address it though, because you are an intern doesn't mean you are "less than". Don't let him disrespect you like that and have others see you getting mistreated...that's when everyone joins in and sees you as a doormat...that can't defend herself.
 
I believe that it was kinda mean-spirited. Yeah, but if you are on your internship, try not to go on any sites except for major ones like yahoo.com, etc.

He did WHAT again? And what do you mean by LURKING? You need to address it girl. If he did it again, you won't be in trouble for defending yourself.

Trust, it took me 4 years to speak up to people like that @ work... do it now and it'll be squashed, or else deal with it everyday...:perplexed
