I'd to hear more about people's experiences with argan oil. It is from Morocco, but a bit hard to find over here. Moroccan products in general are sometimes tough to get over here. The country is not as advanced as some other ones like India.

What are some argan oil uses or recipes? I know for hair and for skin, that it is used for both.

I use amla, shikaki, brahmi, and bringharaj ayurvedic oils weekly. I also use coconut, jojoba, grapeseed, castor, macadamia nut oils. My hair is a lot thicker and healthier since using the ayurvedic oils.

My faves are coconut and vatika. Vatika is my favorite of those two. It seals well and gives great hold for styling. I also love the smell of it. Mmmm...

castor, coconut & jojoba oil are my favorites but if I have to pick one I think I'll choose castor.

I voted Coconut. But I also have & have used: Wheat Germ, Almond, Grapeseed, EVOO, Jojoba, Macadamia Nut, Avacado, Soy, Sesame.

And although I have alot of the Ayuredic (Indian Oils) I find that the ones mentioned above are working for me better, personally, because many of the Indian Oils have Mineral Oil & can be heavier and that hasn't worked well for me.

anyone who's used wheat germ and coconut oil how do they compare? what about the wheat germ smell?

coconut oil saved my life

j/k, but honestly i love that stuff, I put it in everything.:lick: Castor oil is a close second.

I voted for olive, jojoba, castor and coconut oil and not necessarily in that order. If I had to put them in order of preference, it would be coconut, jojoba, olive and castor oil.

My vote is for Castor Oil. I never liked Vatika all that much, but Castor is the best! That red stuff just makes my hair shine and feel so soft!

In order of preference, coconut, EVOO, jojoba, castor oils

I can't wait to get my unrefied avocado oil inthe maill to add it to the mix

Coconut oil is my fave. It works really well and it it one of the most inexpensive oils. I also like grapeseed oil, apricot kernel oil and castor oil.

I Purchased some Soybean oil & Palm Oil Love the way both of them make my hair feel all soft and shiny.

coconut oil makes my hair dry and break after using it for weeks i have to alternate with it and olive oil

WOW thanks... I love olive oil, But I will def. try coconut! I need all the oil and moisture I can get!

My favorite oil is castor oil, it makes my hair so soft. I've already dumped my olive oil for it. I'm contemplating getting rid of the coconut oil also.
