I get so bombarded with things to do daily, then I find myself thinking about my hair all the time. I HATE IT!:wallbash: But, I want to know if ladies who have had their hair grown, if they were surprised by the length they reached because they kept themselves busy. Would anyone keep busy, so they are not thinking about their hair?

Well, I think it's like with anything else - for instance, if I'm trying to curb snacking, I find that I do better when I keep myself busy with activities or just doing something other than passively watching television.

It's already on there, in a way. Not officially, but with school and stuff I tend to be busy.
However, there's usually some sort of maintenance required at night, so it's not like I really forget about it.

Didn't vote I go through different stages, hair obsessed to hair ignored - but since finding and sticking to my regimen, I tend to not veer away from my technique, i only try things that can fit into my current regimen so I stay sane (I have recently gone into a PJ spree caused by using up all of my last PJ episode products will be coming out of this sharpish:look:) and my hair's thriving

My hair grew and I came up with my regimine of co washing and bunning from working and being SO BUSY!!! Thats when my hair grew when I was too busy to fuss in it...Now I'm on my maternity leave I've straightened twice and I just trimed last night ....so yes keeping busy helped me grow my hair because now that i'm home all the time I'm all up in it...lol

i voted Yes, because I am too focused on this hair. thats why i cant wait for school to star because i go to school from 8 to 2:30, then my afterschool sport (tenis, volleyball, track, whatever it is that day) til 3:30, then i change clothes and travel to work to get there by 4:30, and work til 9:30. so hair is deff gonna be the last thing on my mind lol
and i wont be messing with it a lot

This is me. Being home, every spare moment I want to play in my hai:ohwell:r

I think it may be something that goes along with being new to hair boards. Every tip and technique is a big novelty in the beginning. That goes away over the years though and you get a lot more matter of fact about things.
