Do tell. I need some suggestions. My hubby is really starting hate my satin cap w/the inner plastic lining. He says everytime I turn my head, the crunching noise wakes him up :lachen::lachen: Plus it's UGLY!!!

TIA

I have the "crunch" problem when I baggy @ night. That's what keeps me from doing it more often than I already do. I have a sarong sized tye dyed piece of silk & I fold it in half lengthwise & just wrap it around my head a couple of times. Sometimes my DH calls me Ben Laden. :ohwell:

I wrap my hair, put on a wrap cap, a silk scarf, and a satin bonnet. I put on the wrap cap because that's the only thing that stays on my edges at night and my silk scarf wont stay on without it. I put on the silk scarf to hold the top down and put on the satin bonet to hold down the wrap cap and the silk scarf. Im a wild sleeper. YOu'd think I'd be hot but :nono:. Im actually quite confortable:yep:

For those wearing a silk scarf, how are you tying it so that it will remain on your head?? I must sleep BAD, b/c in hte morning, mine is NEVER on my head

Oh...And where did you buy your satin pillowcase (Target/Walmart/BSS)??

Satin bonnet but I'm single. I would suggest investing in satin pillow slips if you want tto be cut though or want to get busy.

I wear the Satin Gro Treatment scarf by Cristina; you can find em at Sally's along with the Perm treatment scarf (not sure what that means); still not sure if they make your hair grow or not!! :drunk: I like them for the size and shape (long and rectangular)

Satin bonnet. But definately have your husband invest in some pretty satin pillowcases for you if he still wants your hair to look sexy at night :yep:

I sleep in a satin bonnet without the plastic inside. I buy them at walmart. I have 20 +/- (cuzz I'm always misplacing them). My husband is always threatening to throw them away when he finds them around the house. So I just pick up more at the store!:Devil::Devil:

I wear a satin scarf on my head, but I also have satin pillowcases. Sometimes when I'm hanging with my fiance I fall asleep without my scarf on, so this keeps my hair protected either way.

Scarves ALWAYS came off for me. I wear a drawstring satin cap (loosely, even) and my fro gives it something to hang on to even under my shower cap! :lachen:

I buy my satin pillowcases at Sally's. They are the only things I buy at Sally's.

I wear a silk scarf. I got two at Old Navy and I really like them.

The only bad thing is that they are so smooth and they slip off sometimes during the night.

I think I'm going to get some silk or satin pillowcases for evenings when I'm not alone and don't want to look like Aunt Jemima wearing my scarf.:look:

I wear a bonnet, satin scarf, or panyty hose with the legs cut off and I also have the satin pillow cases from Sallys. My boyfriend doesn't like the bonnet but whatever, I would rather have long hair and look good in the moring...

I got mines from Wal-Mart in the "black" hair care aisle. It's a black satin bonnet for $1.50, it doesnt make any noise. I go to sleep with my hubby with my hair down, I put it on after were done having sex and the lights are out because it sure is hard to feel sexy in that thing..

OMG..You have my ROLLING over here in Japan. I feel you though. The other night my hubby was like, "Get that MESS off of your head!!!" :lachen::lachen:

Thanks for all the input. I head to USA on Thurs, so I will definitely pick up a satin pillowcase while there.

I baggie with a shower cap and also put on a satin bonnet.
I then sleep on a satin pillowcase.

Now for someone who up until late March of 2008 used to sleep on a cotton/polyester pillowcase with nothing covering my ponytailed hair, this is a sigiificant improvement.

Please don't ask me what I was thinking. I don't know.:nono::wallbash::kick:
