Do you pay attention to people's hair more than ever?

Heck yes! I find myself examining peoples ends .. and realizing the "long-haired" girls in school, usually aren't even APL, and have been that length for 4 years.

And maybe its just me, but I find that the people around me with the worst hair or ends .. have it dyed. Usually some form of caramel.

Now that I’ve identified my own flaws (breakage, thinning nape and temples), I notice (read: admire) those who don’t have those problems.

I was just thinking about this today. It's like a part of my brain that I can't shut off.

I feal like Neal at the end of Matrix #1 when he saw everything in binary code. It won't go away :spinning:

I find Im looking all the time in the Hair care isle but also at the heads of the people in the hair care Isle ( Like the dude with the permed mullet with sides shaven looking at hair grease:look:)

I got called a snob today by my SO. I was at Rite Aid getting my cold medicine and of course could not help but wander in the hair care isle looking for CON (None found). I saw this girl with chewed up, dry hair looking at a box of Dr. Miracle relaxer :nono: while dogging her friend with another friend saying " She don't have no hair" mind you home girl got nothing but 2 inches of eaten hair. I chuckled to myself and under my breath I said " you dont have hair either". SO heard and bopped me over the head and said move it junkie no more products.

Yes I am doing this all the DANG TIME.....

I do it all the time now!!! Even with some of my sorority sisters. One of them is going natural and she did a BC. There's nothing wrong with going natural, but she's not doing correctly. Her hair is so crunchy and dry, it needs a good detangler and moisturizer plus she needs to dc and run a brush through it every once in a while. It's sad, it makes me want to put her on to the site but she's one of those people that you can't give the site out to, she thinks it's the devil...

There's nothing wrong with going natural
This was unnecessary. Of course there is nothing wrong with "going natural". Actually, the term should be "being natural" because that's the way we're born.

Anyway... I notice people's hair all the time now. People of all races. On the tube last week I saw one blonde (bleached) girl with long hair and the ends were so thrashy that I was just thinking trim, hot oil treatment, baggy! And there was another white lady with lots of curly, dark hair - you could see it was as brittle and dry as ours can be when it's in a bad state. And her hair was so thrashy and tangled! I was thinking, she needs deep conditioning, to comb her hair only when it's wet, and a good moisturiser. :nono::lachen:

OMG yes! Also, whenever I see a girl with long healthy looking hair I say a prayer " Oh Allah, give me long healthy hair like that or longer and healthier, I trust in You, You are in control of all things"
:amen:.
