about 2 weeks ago I saw an infomercial on Infusium23 and I just had to buy it. I ended up buying the conditioner for color/permed/ chemically treated hair. I also bought the leave-in for color/permed/chemically treated hair. all I can say is O my god

I never thought my hair had that potential to look so nice with out the help of a stylist or flat iron. this is what I did. I washed with keracare hydrating shampoo. I then used queen helen hot oil tx and left that on for about 3 mins. I then applied elasta QP breakage control serum and went under a hooded dryer for 15 min. I rinsed that out and followed it with a keracare moisturizing conditioner and elucence mb mixed together left it on for about 20 min. I then applied Infusium23 with a plastic cap but no heat for about 15 min then rinsed. I towel dried and applied razzac, a little elucence mb (dime-sized) and Infusium leave-in. my hair came out looking sooooooooooooooo healthy and shiny and had a lot of elasticity. everyone at my church and work kept asking what did I do to my hair. this one girl was like dang, I know you must have a good stylist cause your hair has to much bounce and is to healthy. when I told her I did it myself she was like

. o.k. o.k I know I'm ranting know but this is the 2nd time I tried this routine and it came out so perfect again. I guess the reason why I think the Infusium had something to do with it is because it's the only new products I added to my regime and my hair never came out looking so good in a at home roller set. I know a lot of people have had bad experiences with infusium because I had, before it use to leave my hair hard but I think it was because I was using the wrong formulas like original or for thin/fine hair... etc and this was my first time using for color/chemically treated hair. all I know is that it works and if you haven't tried it you have to!!!!! now I know if I do go to the salon it's more for the style or if I just feel like being pampered.

I don't hear too many people on here raving about Infusium, but I looooove it

It's the best shampoo/conditioner and leave-in I have ever used on my hair.

I just made up a "daily summer spray" for my hair with Infusium 23 Original Formula, and a few different oils that I had laying around...(I think it was flyjump00 who gave me the idea.. thanks, girl!!
kiss.gif
) but anyway I'm just hoping that using it as a daily spray won't give my hair an overdose of protein...
confused.gif
I've tried it, and it feels really good on my hair, but I'm a little skeptical because of the protein thing...
ohwell.gif

lisatamika, you took the words right out of my mouth. I was so hesitant to try it considering I don't hear much about it on this board, but the power of commercials and the before and after pics.
ooo.gif
I'm glad I took the risk though cause i can't say enough about this product.
my best friend which sees me everyday noticed an immediate change in my hair and asked if I got my hair done. (and she doesn't give compliments easy)

I use it every day also to "wet" my hair before applying moisturizer(s). Mine is original forumla leave-in mixed with Wonder 8 oil and EVOO. The bottle says it's safe for everyday use
smile.gif

I have been using it everyday for about the past 4 months. I wore my hair straight for the past few days and my hair and ends are looking VERY nice and HEALTHY.

And it's relatively inexpensive!!! After I use up all that shampoos and conditioners I have, I won't be buying anything else beside Infusium 23 and Neutrogena Triple Moisture.

It is, and I had to go through a lot of experimenting, but sometimes it's good to experiment since everyone's hair is so different.

So good to know!! I will definitely be giving it a try, especially when I start doing my wash n go styles, and will need something to wet my hair every day without actually rinsing it!!

Mine is mixed with Barry Fletcher Liquid Moisture, WonderGro Shea Butter Oil and Vanilla Monoi Oil... it smells sooooo good!!

Thanks again, Lisa!!

Congrats on finding a product that works well for you. I didn't have the same luck with Infusium, but everyone has different hair.

Congrats on finding something that works for your hair. BTW, i've noticed that most Dominican salons use this as a leave-in... for some reason, i never thought to pick up my own

I love the leave-in too!

You are welcome Lindy. Glad you are happy with it so far.

I've been too afraid to try Infusium again. I used to use it a long time ago and I just remember it drying out my hair. I think I made a vow to never use it again. Glad that it works for you.

I think Im gonna have to try some Infusium23 products once I run out of the products I have which will be awhile (Im trying not to become a PJ

)

That cool, I glad it works for your hair. Maybe it doesn't work for everyone because they have a different hair type. When I look at reviews for products I try to find someone who has my hair type just to make sure it will work on me as well. I see you have the same hair type as mine so maybe Ill give it a try.

I use the Infusium 23 shampoo for colored/permed/chemically treated hair and I LOVE it. It makes my hair really soft and silky. I haven't used the conditioner, but I use the Infusium 23 leave-in spritz for colored/permed/chemically treated hair right before I put in my Salerm21 leave-in.

The last time I used it, my hair came out crispy! Did I use too much?

maybe you used the wrong formula because my hair doesn't really agree with the other formulas.

I think the leave-in played a very important role. (It helped seal in the moisture) my hair usually comes out somewhat dry feeling after hood drying.
(I washed my hair friday and today is tuesday and I'm still getting complements on the health and look of my hair.
smile.gif

this just may get me addicted to weekly roller sets at home.

I wish I could stop going to the salon. I would save so much money per year - close to $1100.

you have such beautiful hair. I always thought you did it your self.

.........but then again I probably spend at least half of that on products and vitamins alone last year.
